Rapid EIA Studies of 3 Pre-identified Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in NCT - Delhi: Page No.91 Following inference can be drawn from the results obtained: 1. The sub-soil strata from existing ground surface to 20.40m depth consists predominantly of fine grained soils i.e. sandy silt of low plasticity (CL/ML-CL). However, the sub-soil strata from depth 2.50 to 5.00m consists predominantly of coarse grained soils i.e. silty sand (SP-SM). 2. During the field investigation, groundwater table was encountered at 6.10 m depth below the existing ground level. Fig 4.25 depicts the variation of permeability through different strata.
