expressions and practice simple conversations in<br />
class. The emphasis will be on speaking and listening.<br />

This class is a continuation of the Beginning Spanish<br />
class offered this past fall. We will continue to practice<br />
basic conversations and learn vocabulary useful<br />
for everyday situations and traveling in a Spanishspeaking<br />
country. The goal of this class is to increase<br />
your confidence as a Spanish speaker in a fun,<br />
relaxed, and supportive atmosphere! Prerequisite:<br />
A beginning Spanish class or a basic knowledge of<br />
Spanish, for example, familiarity with numbers, colors,<br />
time, weather, family, food and basic conversations.<br />

Do you want to speak Spanish more fluently Do you<br />
have a solid knowledge base and strong vocabulary,<br />
but no opportunity to practice or improve This class<br />
will provide ample opportunities for you to practice<br />
your Spanish as we discuss current events, social<br />
issues, arts and culture. We will also read and discuss<br />
short articles, have small and large group discussions,<br />
debates about two sides of an issue, and incorporate<br />
music, video and film into our discussions. Classes will<br />
also include brief lessons on grammar to help students<br />
increase their mastery of the language. Join us –<br />
you will improve your Spanish, have fun, and enjoy<br />
interesting discussions with others! Limited to 16.<br />
