SPRING EPHEMERALS &
OTHER DELIGHTS
Jana Milbocker and Joan Butler, Instructors
There are hundreds of species of wildflowers that are
native to the woodlands of northeastern North America.
In this one-evening workshop, we will describe and
illustrate the delicate and often fleeting beauty of
early spring blooming perennials such as Bloodroot,
Jeffersonia, Hepatica and Epimedium. Descriptions
of their habitats and ideal growing conditions highlight
their unique adaptations and encourage both their
conservation and inclusion in the home garden. We
will share with you where to purchase and how to
incorporate these wonderful additions to your gardens.
