Savor the aroma, the ambiance and the delectable dishes<br />

of one of <strong>Needham</strong>’s hottest restaurants, as Chef Dave<br />

demonstrates his talents in the kitchen. The class includes<br />

ample portions to sample and recipes to take home. You’ll<br />

be entertained, sated, and relaxed, and pick up some<br />

great cooking tips too! Dave will offer this class on two<br />

dates, with two different menus, outlined below – register<br />

for one or both. Participants are encouraged to bring their<br />

own wine if they choose. Signed copies of Dave Becker’s<br />

new illustrated cookbook, Stewed, will be available for<br />

purchase at each class. Note: This is a popular class so<br />

we advise faxing or calling in your registration for the best<br />

chance of getting in. Limited to 30.<br />

Dave will prepare Portuguese Kale Soup with Chorizo<br />

and Apples, Crab-stuffed Phyllo with Spring Greens<br />

and a Tomato Vinaigrette, and Pan-roasted Duck<br />

Breast with Wild Mushrooms and Taleggio Whipped<br />

Potatoes.<br />

Brian Wasik, Owner of The Cheese Shop, Instructor<br />

This very interactive and slightly over-indulgent two hour<br />

class in all things cheese is taught by second generation<br />

cheesemonger Brian Wasik. We will start with a<br />

“cheese 101” tutorial, followed by extensive tasting of<br />

multiple cheeses from different cheese families. The<br />

evening will also include making fresh ricotta cheese,<br />

and finishing with a cheese fondue – with ample<br />

samplings for all. Join us for this fun, informative, and<br />

delectable evening! Note: This is a very popular class,<br />
