creations will then be fused in the kiln after the class;
fused items can then be picked up at the classroom
the following Saturday, March 23, between 10am and
1pm, or at the Community Education office in the school
administration building after March 23. A materials fee
of $70 (per parent/child pair) is payable to the instructor
for all tools and the selection of glasses. Students
should bring safety goggles to class, and be sure to
wear close-toed shoes. This class is appropriate for
children 7-12 years old, when accompanied by a parent
or other adult. Limited to 7 parent/child pairs.

COLLAGE CARDS

For those who really want to tap into their innate creativity,
join us to learn various assemblage techniques to
create beautiful one-of-a-kind cards suitable for giving
or framing. Using a wide assortment of materials, you
will learn techniques for layering, tearing and collage,
while focusing on design, composition and creativity.
All materials will be provided, but feel free to also bring
any colorful paper scraps and assorted embellishments
(buttons, string, etc.) to add to your creations. Enjoy
an evening out being creative, and come home with a
beautiful assortment of completed cards. A materials fee
of $12 is payable to the instructor in class. Please bring a
pair of scissors, a glue stick, and a roll of two-sided tape
to class. Limited to 12.

Unique Collage Card design
RECYCLED JEWELRY
Ingrid Goldbloom Bloch, Instructor
Learn how to transform everyday materials into unique,
fun and funky jewelry to give as gifts or enjoy wearing
yourself. Through teacher demonstration and hands-on
practice, you will learn techniques for turning ordinary
hardware store items and found objects into stunning
earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. You will leave with
at least one bracelet, 2 pairs of earrings, one necklace,
and components, tools, and ideas to make many more
pieces of recycled jewelry on your own at home. A
materials fee of $15 is payable to the instructor in class.
Please bring to class a pair of scissors with a point,
and flat and round nose jewelry pliers if you have them
(there will be a few to borrow in class if you don’t). High
school students are welcome! Children aged 8-12 years
old are welcome to register with a parent. Limited to 12.
