INITIATIVE (AF GFM-DI)<br />
GFM provides standardization of force structure representation across the<br />
Department of Defense (DOD) in a net-centric environment. The goal of<br />
the DOD GFM-DI is to integrate the force management processes within<br />
each services’ individual organizational server. The AF GFM-DI ensures<br />
Air Force force structure data is available for all users, systems and<br />
functions. It also tags all authorized force structure data with unique<br />
identifiers.<br />
