The Base Support & Expeditionary (BaS&E) Planning Tool is a suite of<br />

standard systems tools that enable automated, employment-driven, agile<br />

combat support planning. This suite delivers an improved process for<br />

campaign planning and course of action (COA) analysis and selection.<br />

BaS&E captures all aspects of a site/location such as flightline, housing,<br />

and transportation to determine which location can best support incoming<br />

forces based on tasking.<br />

Enables and enhances the warfighters’ combat capabilities as an automated,<br />

employment-driven, information technology planning tool suite supporting<br />

the Air Force Expeditionary Site Survey Planning process (ESSP)<br />

Delivers an improved process for campaign planning and course-of-action<br />

analysis and selection, thus providing a more accurate and expedient identification<br />

of resources as well as critical support requirements for potential<br />

bed down locations around the world<br />

Ensures a well-documented, de-conflicted and standardized approach towards<br />

bed-down and reception support for tasked Operations Plans<br />

(OPLANs)<br />

Allows for rapid capability and LIMFAC identification, and facilitates forcetailoring<br />

decisions to reduce the deployment footprint.A24 A22<br />
