The Air Force SPS team is responsible for the testing, deployment and<br />
maintenance of this DOD base-level contract writing system used at 99<br />
Air Force sites worldwide to purchase supplies and services.<br />

Primary customer: SAF/AQCI, MAJCOM/A7s, contracting squadrons<br />

WARFIGHTER BENEFITS<br />
Provides the capability to write and award contract documents for<br />
worldwide Air Force bases and deployed forces in the warfighting<br />
theater<br />
Ensures all interfaces from the requirement and funding (ABSS)<br />
through contract payment (IAPS, WAWF) and close-outs are properly<br />
and completely accomplished<br />
Delivered in FY12 to worldwide customers over $13B in services and<br />
supplies through SPS (over 100,000 contract actions)<br />
Without SPS, the ability of the Air Force to accomplish its mission would<br />
be severely degraded<br />
