GUNTER NETWORK CONTROL CENTER<br />

(NCC)<br />

The Network Control Center (NCC) provides core network services to the<br />

ESC community at <strong>Maxwell</strong> AFB-<strong>Gunter</strong> <strong>Annex</strong> to meet the operational<br />

needs of the AFPEO BES Directorate, ESC Engineering and the 26th<br />

Network Operations Squadron. NCC provides cutting edge information<br />

technology services and support daily to over 2,000 local users to include<br />

network and internet access, email, personal device management, file<br />

storage, server management, application hosting, Tier 1 and Tier 2 help<br />

desk support, Virtual Private Network (VPN) access and operational<br />

assessment of next generation software and hardware.<br />

Provides network support and services to 51 Air Force program offices<br />

managing 130 combat support systems<br />

Supports Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP) to prove new<br />

capability before fielding to the Air Force<br />

<strong>Gunter</strong> network has unique mix of development, test and operations<br />

providing a perfect sandbox for operational assessment of enterprise<br />

change and helps mitigate the risk of catastrophic defects being delivered<br />

to the warfighters<br />
