The Knight Self-propelled sprayer is the choice of
farmers worldwide for a diverse range of crops from
potatoes to cotton.
A comprehensive range of options compliment this
sophisticated and versatile machine. Booms are available up to
40m wide with tank sizes of up to 6000 litres.
The innovative fingertip fluid control system with integrated
intelligence makes spraying simple and efficient.
The ‘MAXImizer’ plumbing system provides automatic, fast
efficient agitation and rinsing of the complete sprayer including
all the boom pipe work.
The vehicle is equipped with air suspension to smooth out
rough field conditions whilst providing a stable platform for
both operator and spray boom.
The ultimate in operator comfort is provided in a spacious,
climate controlled cab.
All design and engineering takes place in a purpose built factory
allowing flexibility and control to supply every customer with a
machine tailored to meet their specific requirements.

TRACTION CONTROL

The SmartDrive Off Road system electronically manages
wheel slip. This option offers significant benefits including:

HYDRAULIC TRACK ADJUSTMENT
= Adjustable from 1.7m to 2.0m track.
= Hydraulic adjustment from the cab in
100mm or 200mm steps.

= Optional 200hp (151kW) or 225hp (168kW) upgrade.
AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM
= The independent air bag suspension system provides a
smooth and comfortable ride.
= The self-levelling system maintains a stable and
consistent ride height as the load decreases.
ELECTRONIC 4 WHEEL STEERING SYSTEM
The electronically aligned four wheel steering
system can be automatically engaged for
headland turns and revert to two wheel steer
when spraying. The unique electronic vehicle
control system allows seamless switching
between 2 and 4 wheel steer and minimising
boom whip at headlands.

SPRAYER FEATURES
BOOMS AND SPRAY LINES
= Booms available up to 40m.
= Two stage folding available up to 30m. Three stage
folding from 28m to 40m.
= High volume “Air Sleeve” option available for dense
crop canopies.
= Section switching using air stop nozzles with single,
three way, four way or five way options.
= Twin line or multiple nozzles on a single line can be
used for simple selection of different nozzles from
the cab.
FINGERTIP FLUID CONTROL
= Fingertip fluid control is operated from the Muller
computer in the cab or from the panel on the side
of the sprayer.
= There are no complicated valve layouts to learn, just
three simple push buttons that are used to select
filling, tank washing and spray line rinsing.
= All other functions are automatically controlled by
the logic of the unique MAXImizer plumbing
system.
PLUMBING SYSTEM
= MAXImizer is Knight’s patented plumbing system.
= It uses a highly economic layout to reduce the
number of parts and volume of fluid retained in the
sprayer.
= Pressurised circulation of product is maintained in
the spray lines for fast and accurate nozzle
switching.
= The system provides optimum performance for use
with GPS automatic nozzle switching systems.
= All of the pipe work is automatically flushed and remixed
during filling.

INTEGRATED INTELLIGENCE
The importance of ergonomic and easy
to use machine controls is clearly
understood by Knight. This is
demonstrated by the control centre
provided in the Claas Vista Cab. All
vehicle and sprayer controls are clearly
visible and placed within easy reach.

Integrated Vehicle Controller (IVC)
The IVC developed by Knight combines engine management,
steering control and transmission control into one easy to use,
intuitive terminal. The full colour digital display is clearly
visible, with soft-touch buttons on either side of the screen to
easily navigate the controller functions.

FEATURES:
= The Digital Dashboard is always visible in the centre of the
screen. This provides key information such as RPM and forward
speed as well as fuel level, oil level and warning lights.
= Selecting between Road and Field mode is easily achieved at the
touch of a button. As is the control of the various steering modes.
= The advanced logic of the Knight 4 wheel steering system allows
seamless selection of 2 or 4 wheel steering independent of the
current steering position.
= Headland turning can be negotiated with ease thanks to the
spray related switching - when the spray is on 2ws is activated,
when the spray is off 4ws is activated.
= Alternatively a floor mounted switch can also be used to switch
between 2 and 4 wheel steering.
= Hillside correction mode allows the operator to steer the
sprayers rear wheels slightly uphill. This compensates for any
machine drift experienced whilst working on a hillside.
= Full Engine diagnostic information can also be accessed via the
IVC.

INTEGRATED INTELLIGENCE
All sprayer functions are controlled with the MULLER Elektronik
multifunction computer. These computers provide precision farming
capability through an intuitive and user friendly interface.
MULLER BASIC-Terminal
The Muller BASIC terminal is the ideal option for the operator who would
like more sophistication on their machine. The multifunction computer
provides a simple control layout for the operation of all sprayer functions
and includes the following features:
= 15cm anti reflective display with 10 softkeys.
= Muller CAN-bus system with simple single plug connection between
tractor and sprayer.
= Multifunction joystick giving the operator greater control over
important functions while working the sprayer, allowing them to be
carried out easily and quickly.
= Manual boom section switching up to 9 spray sections.
= Sequential or nest spray section switching.
= Full boom hydraulic control with manual boom lift, tilt and folding
functions from either terminal or multifunction grip.
= Automatic or manual spray rate regulation.
= Current speed and application rate and tank volume constantly
displayed.
= Daily and total counters.
MULLER COMFORT-Terminal
Available as an upgrade, the Muller COMFORT controller combines all
the features of the BASIC controller into an ISOBUS terminal. Additional
features include:
= Large VGA (640 x 480 pixel) colour, anti-reflective display with 12 soft
keys.
= Split display main and header.
= ISOBUS 11783 system & terminal.
= USB data transfer.
OPTIONS AVAILABLE:
DISTANCE-Control
Automatically maintains the pre set distance from the
boom to the target surface.
A combination of boom lift and tilt is used to control the
boom position.
Automatic boom raise at headlands.
TANK-Control Electronic Tank Sight Gauge
Exact gauge of the tank contents.
Residual amount in the tank is taken into account when
filling.
Can be linked into Knight Finger Tip Control to shut off
filling at a desired amount.
Tank content automatically displayed on the Muller screen
in the cab.
SECTION-Control
Enables the automatic switching on and off of the spray
sections, any time a sprayer section moves into a previously
applied area it is automatically switched off.
Sprayed area and overlaps displayed.
Field boundary, boom sections automatically switched off
outside working area.
