Replica Creation – Performance Tips
• Options in the UI
– Re-use schema – If the schema already exists, replica creation can
skip copying the schema. For check-out replicas only.
– Schema only – Creates a replica of only schema for cases where you
plan on only adding new data. For check-out replicas only.
– Register existing data – Registers a replica without copying data.
Useful for cases where the data is loaded before replica creation.
NOTE: Globalids must match across geodatabases
– Replicate related data – Can choose to turn it off to avoid processing
at creation time
• Open all feature classes and tables to replicate for creating the
replica
