NUR KILIC has owned Serenade Chocolatier for over<br />
20 years, and has continued the Viennese tradition of<br />
making fine chocolates started by William “Uncle Bill”<br />
Federer in Brookline over 45 years ago.<br />
DOUG KOPCSO holds a BS in Business Administration<br />
from Babson College and completed his teacher<br />
licensure in 2005, earning his PBTL from Framingham<br />
State College. He has taught SAT Prep classes for<br />
<strong>Needham</strong> Community Education since the fall of 2005.<br />
ELIZABETH LAHENS is a married mother of two<br />
and extreme couponer from Webster, Massachusetts.<br />
Elizabeth has a BA in Paralegal Studies from Johnson<br />
and Wales University and is the owner of www.<br />

many area community education programs, and enjoys<br />
sharing her knowledge and tips to help people realize<br />
huge savings.<br />
JOAN LANAGAN has a BA in Spanish from Regis College<br />
and a MEd. In Bilingual Education from UMass,<br />
Boston, and is recently retired from the Wayland <strong>Public</strong><br />
<strong>Schools</strong> after over 35 years of teaching Spanish. Joan<br />
has studied and traveled in Costa Rica, Guatemala,<br />
Ecuador, Mexico and Spain. In past summers, she has<br />
worked in Peru with Hatun Runa, a non-profit organization<br />
committed to medical and educational development<br />
in the northeast Andes.<br />
ANAND LELE is an active member of the American<br />
Contract Bridge League (ACBL) since 1982, and has<br />
played in various tournaments, achieving the rank<br />
of Silver Life Master. He is also an ACBL accredited<br />
teacher, and has taught Beginning and Intermediate<br />
Bridge in local community education programs since<br />
1993. Anand holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the<br />
University of Poona, India, and worked for many years<br />
as a structural engineer.<br />
MICHEL L’HUILLIER studied Fine Arts and Art History<br />
in Strasbourg, France and has over 20 years of<br />
experience working in stained glass and glass fusing.<br />
Although his primary focus is on architectural commissions<br />
using these two techniques, he also creates<br />
unique decorative fused glass objects. With great<br />
enthusiasm and humor, Michel has enjoyed sharing<br />
his passion for glass art forms with students in adult<br />
education and glass schools in the Boston area since<br />

SAM LIGGERO holds a Ph.D. in chemistry and has 32<br />
years experience at Polaroid Corporation in inventing,<br />
designing, developing, manufacturing and launching<br />
novel imaging systems. He has taught digital photography<br />
for <strong>Needham</strong> Community Education for many<br />
years, and is also a practicing digital photographer<br />
who has exhibited his work locally. Sam is currently<br />
a Professor of the Practice at Tufts’ Gordon Institute<br />
where he teaches New Product Development, Technology<br />
Strategy and Innovation, and Management of<br />
Innovation.<br />
JENNIFER LOPEZ received a BA in Spanish Translation<br />
and Interpretation and a MA in Spanish Pedagogy<br />
from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She<br />
lived and worked in Columbia for 2 years and taught<br />
a study abroad program in the Dominican Republic.<br />
Jennifer taught Spanish for several years before joining<br />
the <strong>Needham</strong> High School faculty in 2004.<br />
CINDY LOUGHRAN, a <strong>Needham</strong> resident, is the<br />
Founder and CEO of Cindy Loughran Coaching, and<br />
a Certified Professional Coach, and Certified Group<br />
Coach. She worked for nine years in Human Resources<br />
in the corporate world before starting her own<br />
coaching and consulting business in 1986. Cindy was<br />
recognized as one of Boston’s Top Ten Coaches by<br />
Women’s Business Boston, and has been a contributor<br />

MARIA ELENA LYNCH is a veteran knitter who<br />
learned the craft while growing up in Peru. She has<br />
been teaching knitting privately and for <strong>Needham</strong> Community<br />
Education for several years.<br />
PAUL MALAGRIFA is a Certified Wine Educator who<br />
has been avidly pursuing his passion for wine for<br />
well over 20 years. A winemaking hobby begun in the<br />
1980s spurred him to begin collecting and studying the<br />
wine making of others. Paul writes, teaches and lectures<br />
frequently on the topic of wine appreciation, and<br />
conducts regular wine education classes and seminars<br />
