“Spinning” is a great group fitness experience. If you have<br />

experience spinning, either with <strong>Needham</strong> Community<br />

Ed classes, or in another setting – this class is perfect for<br />

you! The instructor uses upbeat music and enthusiastic<br />

coaching to motivate all participants throughout the<br />

session to challenge themselves at their own level of<br />

fitness. Join us for this exhilarating fitness experience – to<br />

stay healthy, feel better, and get in shape! Register early<br />

Experience the joy of movement while improving your<br />

fitness level and your sense of well-being. Developed by<br />

fitness experts determined to make getting in shape more<br />

enjoyable, the Nia technique combines movements and<br />

concepts from Modern dance, Yoga, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon<br />

Do, Jazz dance, Aikido, and other movement forms. Nia<br />

helps improve cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility,<br />

and toning – and is fun and relaxing too! No prior training<br />

is necessary – all are welcome. Wear loose, comfortable<br />

clothing; no shoes required – we’ll go barefoot. Please<br />

bring a water bottle and a yoga mat for stretching at end<br />

of session. Limited to 18.<br />

Are you serious about becoming more fit With the right<br />

fitness instruction, you can become fit and feel healthier<br />

at any age, and have fun doing it! If you are looking to<br />

lose weight and/or are eager to work on getting back in<br />

shape, this class will help you achieve your goals. This<br />

early morning class will include a dynamic warm-up/<br />

stretch and a variety of strength and fitness activities,<br />

delivered at a moderate pace to help improve current<br />

fitness levels. Join us to get fit and energized, and<br />

jumpstart your way to a healthier lifestyle! Note: The<br />

exercises can be adapted for varying levels of fitness,<br />

but participants should be comfortable running or<br />

jogging for short distances. Please wear athletic shoes<br />

and clothes comfortable for exercising. Limited to 18.<br />
