Welcome to <strong>the</strong> 11 th Annual <strong>Tales</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Cocktail</strong> ® !<br />
<strong>Tales</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Cocktail</strong> ® is <strong>the</strong> annual fundraiser for <strong>the</strong> nonpr<strong>of</strong>it New Orleans<br />
Culinary and Cultural Preservation Society, which grants scholarships to our<br />
industry’s frontline: bartenders.<br />
This year’s festival has been 360 days in <strong>the</strong> making. From <strong>the</strong> moment <strong>Tales</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Cocktail</strong> ® 2012 came to a close, we’ve been working to serve up a<br />
new round <strong>of</strong> events that dive deep into <strong>the</strong> constantly evolving spirits industry.<br />
The 200+ curated seminars, tasting rooms, competitions, Spirited Dinners ®<br />
and more will celebrate everything that’s new and now in cocktails.<br />
In addition to taking in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Tales</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Cocktail</strong> ® events, we hope you also<br />
take some time to drink in everything New Orleans has to <strong>of</strong>fer, including all<br />
<strong>the</strong> food, music culture and, <strong>of</strong> course, cocktails. This is our home, and we’re<br />
so happy to share it with you for <strong>the</strong> next five days.<br />
