<strong>Robert</strong> <strong>Stanton</strong> is a <strong>Senior</strong> <strong>Vice</strong> <strong>President</strong> within the <strong>Global</strong> Accountants and<br />

Consultants group of the<br />

<strong>Aon</strong> <strong>Global</strong> Professions Practice. He has been based in New York since<br />

December 2001.<br />

<strong>Robert</strong> began his insurance career in 1978 in London, where he worked primarily<br />

in a claims role within the UK composite insurer, General Accident. <strong>Robert</strong><br />

joined “MIPI”, the professional liability division of Lloyd's insurance broker, J.H.<br />

Minet, in 1986 and became a Claims Director two years later. He continued in<br />

this role until 1996, receiving the St Paul Chairman's Award in 1995 for his work<br />

in recovering funds on behalf of Minet clients under the UK's Policyholder<br />

Protection Scheme. In early 1997 <strong>Robert</strong> transferred to a Client Service role and<br />

since then has provided insurance broking and risk consulting services to<br />

numerous professional clients, predominantly in the accounting, consulting and<br />

telecommunications sectors.<br />

<strong>Robert</strong> is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK and also<br />

holds a New York State Insurance Broker's License.<br />
