Robert Stanton is a Senior Vice President within the Global Accountants and
Consultants group of the
Aon Global Professions Practice. He has been based in New York since
December 2001.
Robert began his insurance career in 1978 in London, where he worked primarily
in a claims role within the UK composite insurer, General Accident. Robert
joined “MIPI”, the professional liability division of Lloyd's insurance broker, J.H.
Minet, in 1986 and became a Claims Director two years later. He continued in
this role until 1996, receiving the St Paul Chairman's Award in 1995 for his work
in recovering funds on behalf of Minet clients under the UK's Policyholder
Protection Scheme. In early 1997 Robert transferred to a Client Service role and
since then has provided insurance broking and risk consulting services to
numerous professional clients, predominantly in the accounting, consulting and
telecommunications sectors.
Robert is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK and also
holds a New York State Insurance Broker's License.
