of South Carolina. This summer
at Leadership College, we
also received the Silver Star
and the GHQ Trophy. The
weekend of October 10-12
was homecoming at the University
of South Carolina.
Brothers John Banks, Andy
Hearn, Don Hill, Mark
Kovacs, and Chris Ray organized
an alumni barbecue
before the football game.
It was great to see everyone
who came. We encourage
any alumni in the area to
stop by for a visit.
Currentiy, our flag football
team is the champions for
their division, finishing with
a perfect record.

Florida Gamma
Florida State University
This fall Florida Gamma
has enjoyed one of its most
successful semesters in many
years. Florida Gamma kicked
off the semester with its most
successful rush in several
years. The chapter not only
pledged one of the five largest
pledge classes at Florida State,
but the definitely pledged the
highest quality of men available.
Florida Gamma also has
enjoyed great success in other
areas of campus life as well.
Florida Gamma members
have become involoved in
every area of campus life at
Florida State. Currently, the
chapter boasts two student
senators, the IFC executive
vice president, and members
in every imaginable campus
organization.
This fall, Florida Gamma
has begun a brand new philanthropy
to benefit Lou
Gehrig's Disease, The Ladies
of FSU Calendar. Each of
FSU's sixteen sororities nominated
one member of their
chapter to take part in the
calendar. In the end, nine ladies
were chosen to represent
their individual sorority, and
Phi Deha Theta, in the Ladies
of FSU Calendar. The winner,
Meg Charlton of Pi Beta Phi,
has been named the chapter
sweetheart and is on the
cover. The second and third
place finishers (Tory Moldt of
Kappa Delta and Jamie
Stephenson of Delta Delta
Delta) have been named Ladies
of the Sword and Shield
for the chapter and each have
two months in the calendar. If
you are interested in purchasing
a calendar they are available
for $15. Please call new
chapter president Jared Ross
at (850) 224-2896 for more
information.
Phi Delt is once again in
contention for the FSU Intramural
Trophy. The chapter has
already won all-campus
swimming and is currently in
the finals for aU-campus soccer.
Overall, Phi Delt is currently
in third place for the
all-important Florida State
Intramural Championship.
Once again, Florida
Gamma will be well represented
on the Florida State
Interfraternity Council Executive
Board. Outgoing
president Josh Stephens has
been elected administrative
vice president for the IFC and
Brother Josh Massey is the
new director of public relations
and communication.
This gives Phi Delta Theta
two out of the six IFC executive
board officers. Congratulations
to Brothers Stephens
and Massey!
