The 1960 winter games were golden for David W. Jenkins, Colorado '58, who<br />
won a gold medal in figure skating. After the Olympics, Jenkins went on to<br />
Case Western Reserve Medical School, became a doctor and served at the<br />
U.S. Air Force Academy's base hospital. Brother Jenkins moved to Oklahoma<br />
where he is a successful surgeon. He was elected to the U.S Figure<br />
Skating Hall of Fame in 1976. Jenkins brother, Hayes, was also a champion<br />
figure skater.<br />
