Earning AU-NCIC first team honors<br />

for Puget Sound was outfidder Jeff<br />

Halstead, who hit .351 (47 of 134) widi<br />

25 runs scored. Pitcher Seth Samsell led<br />

the Loggers with 5 wins and 40<br />

strikeouts while Christian Lindmark<br />

picked up 3 wins and led with 60 innings.<br />

Reliever Brad Medlock led the<br />

Puget Sound staff with 19 appearances<br />

and 6 saves. Catcher Scott Cesen hit<br />

.276 in 26 games for Case Western<br />

Reserve.<br />

Charlie Ferraro played well at shortstop<br />

for the 36-12 Southwestern Division<br />

III playoff squad. In 43 contests.<br />

MWC second team for Lawrence was<br />
