CONVENTION<br />

Dr. Paul Martin Uirns the first<br />

shovel of dirt on the site of the<br />

headquarter's expansion. <strong>Phi</strong>s,<br />

guests, and the children also had<br />

the opportunity to join in the<br />

ground breaking ceremony. A<br />

photographer took photographs<br />

of all those who wished to<br />

participate.<br />

Ritter Collett and F. Storj-<br />

Musgrave sign autographs after a<br />

general session. Both of these<br />

famous brothers were verygracious<br />

and remained until<br />

everyone that wished, received<br />

their autograph.<br />

While visiting the Miami<br />

University campus, members of<br />

Ohio Alpha served as escorts on a<br />

guided tour. Included on the tour<br />

was a stop inside Elliott Hall,<br />

formerly Old <strong>No</strong>rth Dorm.<br />

Dr. Robert B. Deloian is<br />

introduced to the convention<br />

during its opening session. All<br />

past presidents of the General<br />

Council were introduced in this<br />

fashion. Following his<br />

introduction. Dr. Deloian<br />

received a standing ovation as he<br />

approached the podiinn.<br />
