William Corbus
Former Stanford All-American
and California Beta
member Bill Corbus,
Stanford '33, died in January
in San Francisco.
During his years at
Stanford, Corbus was president
of the student body.
president of California Beta,
a member of Phi Beta
Kappa, and a captain of the
University's 1933 Rose Bowl
team.
He played more minutes
than any Stanford player and
was named president of the
Association of Student Body
Presidents for the entire
country.
He went on to be named a
charter member of the
Stanford HaU of Fame and
was a members of the College
Football Hall of Fame.

their guests.
