and California Beta<br />

member Bill Corbus,<br />

Stanford '33, died in January<br />

in San Francisco.<br />

During his years at<br />

Stanford, Corbus was president<br />

of the student body.<br />

president of California Beta,<br />

a member of <strong>Phi</strong> Beta<br />

Kappa, and a captain of the<br />

University's 1933 Rose Bowl<br />

team.<br />

He played more minutes<br />

than any Stanford player and<br />

was named president of the<br />

Association of Student Body<br />

Presidents for the entire<br />

country.<br />

He went on to be named a<br />

charter member of the<br />

Stanford HaU of Fame and<br />

was a members of the College<br />

Football Hall of Fame.<br />
