Boeing Defence Australia has a world-class team located across the
country delivering some of the largest and most complex programs
for the Commonwealth of Australia, the Australian Defence Force
and international defence and commercial customers.
With a team of 1,300 employees located across 15 sites throughout Australia and
four international sites, Boeing Defence Australia integrates the ‘Best of Boeing’
products and services into the Australian market to provide a range of valued, throughlife
service solutions to our customers. We are organised into three divisions:

Integrated Logistics
The Integrated Logistics capability provides platform maintenance and upgrades,
component maintenance solutions, technical support and training systems and services
for our customers. Integrated Logistics maintains the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF)
F/A-18F Super Hornets, F/A-18 A/B Hornets and provides logistics support for the C-17
Globemaster III. The Integrated Logistics division also trains mission-ready helicopter
pilots, aircrew and technicians for the Australian Army and has a component repair
business.
Information & Operational Systems
The Information & Operational Systems capability provides complex command, control
and communications systems and mission critical infrastructure support, specialist
engineering services as well as information and cyber-security solutions. This includes
the development of the RAAF’s Vigilare ground-based air defence and Modernised
High Frequency Communications System (MHFCS), which are the foundation of
the Australian Defence Force’s (ADF’s) network centric warfare capability. Boeing
also provides specialist operations, maintenance and support services across a
number of ADF sites.
Tactical Derivative Aircraft
The Tactical Derivative Aircraft capability supports commercial-to-military projects for
countries acquiring Boeing Airborne Antisubmarine Warfare and Intelligence, Surveillance
and Reconnaissance products. Key projects include Airborne Early Warning & Control
(AEW&C) Wedgetail In-Service Support to the ADF’s six Wedgetail aircraft, as well
as integrated logistics support work on AEW&C acquisition projects for the Republic
of Korea Air Force and the Turkish Air Force.

Boeing Defence Australia is committed to providing high-end capabilities which tactically
and strategically support the ADF with its missions. Our capabilities, including the
Systems Analysis Laboratory and battlespace communications systems such as
Vigilare and MHFCS provide the Australian Army with a high level of situational
awareness so that they can make rapid decisions to deploy troops.
