The front door opens and Skyler turns to see Walter, Jr.<br />
coming in. Hank is right behind him.<br />
Skyler addresses her son, her anger barely contained.<br />
SKYLER<br />
I don’t even know what to say to<br />
you. Go to your room. I’ll deal<br />
with you later.<br />
As Walter, Jr. clicks off down the hall, Skyler sinks down<br />
at the table, at wit’s end. Trying to be helpful, Marie<br />
holds out a glass of Chardonnay.<br />
MARIE<br />
(businesslike)<br />
Here. Smell this.<br />
But Skyler just buries her face in her hands. Hank takes a<br />
seat next to her, tries to console her.<br />
HANK<br />
He’s just going through a phase.<br />
He finds out his dad’s sick, and<br />
now he’s acting out. First the<br />
pot, now this...<br />
SKYLER<br />
(looks up, confused)<br />
The pot?<br />
Hank shoots an accusing look at Marie.<br />
HANK<br />
You told me the kid was getting his<br />
doobage on.<br />
MARIE<br />
That’s what Skyler told me.<br />
(adds, to Skyler)<br />
I mean, you might as well have.<br />
SKYLER<br />
(exasperated)<br />
I wasn’t talking about Walter, Jr.<br />
I was talking about Walt.<br />
Hank and Marie are both stunned. And Hank is a little<br />
impressed. He can’t help but smirk.<br />
HANK<br />
No shit. Old man Walt’s tokin’ up?<br />
Did he even inhale?<br />
