THE STORY: "The Dragon Flies" i20th-Fox)
Hong Kong police inspector Jimmy Wang Yu is summoned
to Australia to arrange for a drug pusher's extradition
to China. Pursuaded by Wang Yu's kung fu skills,
the pusher names George Lazenby, kingpin of the Sydney
underworld, as his Australian drug contact. When the
prisoner is killed by a sniper en route to the courthouse.
Wang Yu sets out to find evidence against Lazenby.
despite objections to his interference in the case by
Australian police officials Roger Ward and Hugh Keays-
Byrne. Wang Yu breaks into Lazenby's kung fu studio
one night and unexpectedly encounters students who almost
kill him. He escapes by climbing onto a passing
van, driven by Rebecca Gilling. They become romantically
involved while he recovers at her country home. As she
drives him back to Sydney, a bomb explodes inside the
van and Gilling is killed. Wang Yu borrows friend Ros
Spiers' hang glider to reach Lazenby's tightly protected
penthouse by aii-. He escapes the building with a forced
written confession by Lazenby and drug evidence, just
before an explosion rocks the penthouse.

THE STORY: "Fugitive Killer" (Boxoffice Infl)
In prison 12 years for killing his wife and her lover,
Neil Patrick finally manages to escape, stealing a car in
the process, killing its owner and heading into remote
countryside, pursued by state police. Hiding out on farm
property, Patrick rapes Karen Hansen, 18-year-old
daughter of the faiin family, and later kills a boy picnicking
with his girl friend (Cheryl Patton). After enjoying
sex with Cheryl, Patrick decides to head for what he
hopes will be eventual freedom, using a canoe and supplies
provided by John-Scott Schroeder, Karen's tenyear-old
brother whom he has befriended. A water mishap
leads to Patrick's fateful decision to save the boy and
in the process, lose his own life.
EXPLOITIPS:
Steven Arnold has provided two original tunes, "Travelin'
Blues" and "I Must Go Home." Teaser ads run-ofpaper
and intriguingly-worded lines under the "Personal"
category of classified advertising pages should prove beneficial,
boxoffice-wise.

THE STORY: "That's the Way of the World" (UA)
A-Kord Records in New York decides to push a family
group consisting of Bert Parks and step-childi-en Jimmy
Boyd and Cynthia Bostick. President Ed Nelson assigns
record producer Harvey Keitel the job of promoting the
trio into stars and producing their albimi. Keitel, a man
""*' of integrity, has to neglect black group Maurice White
and Earth, Wind and Fire, whom he believes in and is
trying to push. From ex-company head Sig Shore, Keitel
learns that syndicate man Fred "Versacci controls A-Kord
thi-ough his nephew Michael Dante, who is Nelson's
assistant, and Nelson. Going about his job, Keitel finds
that Parks is a lecherous man. Boyd a drug addict and
Bostick a promiscuous drunk. After the trio is set to do
Dick Stewart's TV show, Keitel persuades Bostick to be
married by a black minister, Charles MacGregor. With
Bostick's contract in his hand, Keitel forces Versacci to
surrender his contract and that of White and his group.
MacGregor proves to be a janitor.

Records. Play up the popular Earth, Wind and Fire,
whose title album is a hit. Contact local disk jockeys
for tie-ins.

THE STORY: 'Run, Rabbit, Run" (Horizon Fihns)
Anthony Steel, ranking music conductor, is prime attraction
of an international music festival in an Italian
town. He is accompanied by Francoise Prevost, in her
30s, and the latter's teenage daughter, Helga Anders.
And while Francoise is his mistress of the moment, he
develops an increasing interest in Helga. The situation
gets even more sensitive with arrival of young artist
Raymond Lovelock, who becomes attached to Helga. At
the festival's concluding big reception, Helga feels as
lonely as her pet rabbit. During an unguarded moment.
the rabbit dashes av.ay. Ihe party guests, intoxicated
and in festive mood, get frightened. Dogs are turned
loose and tear the small animal to pieces. Helga finds
solace in Lovelock's arms. The next morning. Steel and
Francoise leave. Helga and Lovelock stay behind.

THE STORY: "Death Knocks Twice" (Horizon)
Murder of an American official's wife on a fashionable
European beach after a loving party sparks investigation
by private detectives Dean Reed and Fabio Testi. helped
by Helen Chanel, subsequent queries leading to Leon
Askin and Ini Assmamr, who are apparent links to a
multi-nation crime syndicate headed, it is learned, by
Anita Ekberg. As the persistent investigators get close
to proba'ole fact-of-the matter, Assmann kills Anita, and,
in tuin, is shot down himself, Askin is assassinated and
a mysterious individual known only as the Professor
lAdolfo Cell I moves to kill Reed. Reed unmasks the
killer, a painter with an unending lust for beautiful
women.
