"If one of them comes across an interesting event or thinks that the LB GmbH or individual divisions should be represented in certain media or at a trade show, he can talk to us", Dirk Meyer says. Since the company had its origins in logistics and still includes a capable logistics service provider in Germany with the WM GROUP, it is obvious that the LB is a member of the LOG- IT Club, the sponsoring organisation of the logistics cluster NRW. "An engaging exchange amongst logisticians, from which all sides can only profit, always takes place there. The aim of this cluster is to turn North Rhine-Westphalia into the logistics location number 1," Meyer explains. The two also regularly attend trade shows and roadshows - multidisciplinary and therefore with an eye on all divisions. "We try to always represent the extensive portfolio of our group, give talks and speak about the group." Acquiring new customers and looking for new partners The acquisition of new customers and looking for new partners are some of the duties of central distribution Meyer and Mass currently look after several customers who are interested in the topic logistics mall. Meyer says: "We advise everybody: the smaller customer who is only interested in the area of eCommerce as well as the big transport service providers who want to use the mall extensively." There are also customers who might want to handle their logistics through LB GmbH and are currently in a kind of partnership - also in the area of the mall by Logata. As an illustration, Logata's Björn Renzel demonstrated the logistics mall live. With the help of the Process Designer, the user can now utilise several products in the mall. "From now on, communication between the individual apps is also possible. Together with the customer, we create completely individual processes to suit the customer's requirements," Björn Renzel explains. For instance, stock receipt, testing of certain, pre-determined characteristics and storage are examples from logistics. "In principle, this model can be used for all industries," according to Renzel. This is why the mall is so interesting for central distribution. A large number of talks have already been organised for the second quarter of the year in which Michael Maas and Dirk Meyer will introduce the products of the LB GmbH. "Going for it with motivation" "An event like the Kick-off is immensely valuable for us. We learn even more about the products of the group and we also get the chance to connect faces to individual divisions and products. That is really nice", Dirk Meyer declares. You shouldn't hesitate to talk to the two gentlemen if you have questions, suggestions or ideas.
