IT " Product management and material flow - the products of LinogistiX " Contact What started in 2001 as a research project of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics, has now - jointly coordinated, with Linogistix GmbH - proved itself in the market. "MyWMS offers the customer all essential services of warehouse management. MyWMS is an Open Source project and can always vary because the source code is disclosed and Java is used. It also allows an immediate reaction to the changing market conditions", explains Julia Wollenweber at the start. Efficient and reliable warehouse management Imagine the IT infrastructure like a network of honeycombs which is filled with the applications which have been coordinated with the customer. Retailer "Iamoda". Wollenweber explains: "In Germany, it is known as Zalando. We supplied the whole warehouse management system to this young Russian Online Shop for branded and designer shoes". The IT experts visited Moscow for an individual consultation to work out the requests and requirements of the customer directly. Control of material flow The business processes of the future are continuous and integrated, automated and synchronised. Be it in the physical material flow or in the supply chain management, often current developments are initiated by new knowledge, technologies or processes in the information technology. LinogistiX creates innovative concepts to control the material flow. Andreas Trautmann tells: "We worked, for example, on the conceptual design of the integrated transport control system iTLS for the Volkswagen AG, participating in the realisation of one of the first multi-agent systems for control of semi-autonomous shuttle vehicles or the Internet of Things - just to mention some examples". "Our focus in the implementation and consultation services is the use of innovative technologies to efficiently control processes and optimise them." Innovative concepts to control material flow LinogistiX products in the Logistics Mall As a member of the Logata group, the operator of the Logistics Mall, and a "Division" of the already mentioned "The Mall Company", the IT experts ensure the provision of the different applications but also offer their own products to the virtual market place.
