Managing Partner
Shortly after the publication of the first edition
of the LB Plus, an LB Plus "Special" will be released.
Why "Special"? Because we have done
something special and potentially unique for
our group. The divisions of the LB group seem
very different at first glance but they all came
together to jointly host a "WE event" to familiarise
themselves with the services and products
of the individual divisions. It is our goal to
develop and perform even more joint projects
and services together.
We welcome you and appreciate your loyalty.
The feedback was inspiring! From "all the
things we can do" to "what real additional benefits
and advantages can we offer the customer
with our group" and "how can we exchange
our multi-faceted know-how and support each
other in the group".
INTERVIEW
" In line with the
"We" idea "
LB Plus: At the end of March, the "We" event
of the LB GmbH took place. Who is "We"?
Karoline Wolf: "We" includes all employees of
the LB group which is composed of the divisions
Logistics, IT, Production and Media as
well as affiliated companies. We particularly
invited sales-oriented employees to the event
at that weekend. This includes sales representatives,
technical support staff and apprentices.
A total of 78 group employees attended
the event.
LB Plus: A large group with an extensive
range. How were the participants acquainted
with this?
Karoline Wolf: The type and scope of the presentations
were left to the individual speakers
from the different companies. This is how
for example a role play was incorporated to
explain more difficult concepts such as the
"logistics mall" in a simple, effective manner.
Of course, some companies opted for a nor-
mal PowerPoint presentation which was most
often presented by the team. Since the apprentices
were also given the chance to explain
their company's products and services, the fellow
apprentices were integrated perfectly and
"picked up".
The Logistics division took us on an interesting
journey through Germany and introduced
us the services provided at each location (and
which by far extend the simple storage of products).
Finally, the Media division demonstrated
their products from the Production, Print
and Marketing areas using film clips. A broad
product portfolio which was brought closer in
an emotive way in animated (or "animating")
images.
LB Plus: Is everybody a salesperson after the
event? What were the goals?
Karoline Wolf: In line with the "We" idea,
we wanted to focus on the knowledge transfer
and the communication between the
Karoline Wolf, Marketing director of the LB GmbH,
was principal organiser of the "We event"

companies of the LB GmbH with respect to
marketing and sales campaigns. Within the
"We-group", we have already managed to
successfully tackle many projects together.
In order to extend this strength further, we
wanted to bring ourselves up-to-date about
the products and services of the affiliated
companies as well as cross-selling potentials
within the group. A particular goal was
the usage of synergies and appearance as an
All-In solution partner for our customers.
We fully achieved this because we have
already noticed that the individual participants
are active in sales cross-company
in their teams with an extended product
knowledge. We have built a "community" in
our own "online network" which facilitates
an active exchange. It is nice to see such a
positive response not only when it comes
to finding joint solutions for the customer
but also for the trust and solidarity amongst
each other.
LB Plus: This special edition of the LB Plus
exclusively deals with the event – what can
the reader expect?
Karoline Wolf: We will give an interesting review
of the event and a comprehensive insight
into the different companies, their employees,
products and services. It will also become
more obvious for some readers how a group
with many diverse areas can grow together.
LB Plus: Are further cross-division events
like this one planned?
Karoline Wolf: First of all, I am glad everything
went as smoothly as it did. This has been the
first cross-company event of this size for a long
time and therefore, the excitement and stress
to meet the expectations of the partners and
participants is high.
This also shows the capacity for teamwork of
the group. Everybody played their part in the
preparations, from prompt replies about participant
numbers to allow specific planning on
my part, to the delivery in time of presentations
for a test run or the support from wm.mediapro
for those who aren't quite as well-versed
with presentations and have more affinity for
other areas. And of course the professional
post-processing by the team of our Printing
division. You are currently holding the result
in your hands. One of many magazines we
produce with our publisher. I really enjoyed
the organisation of the event and was therefore
really pleased with the positive feedback which
I received in personal chats. I hope that I will
be allowed to plan another "We event" with just
as much commitment and enthusiasm!
LB Plus: Many thanks for the insights.
LB Plus: The venue was Wunderland Kalkar
and not a conference room at the company
site or the Open Innovation Center. Why did
you choose an external location?
Karoline Wolf: We specifically chose the detached
atmosphere away from the beautiful
Bocholt. Firstly, to loosen it up a little bit, but
also to avoid one or two people disappearing
off into their offices or making phone calls in
breaks. Everybody could focus on the topics
and get to know each other and exchange
opinions over dinner or a beer afterwards.
LB Plus: What do you want from the future?
Karoline Wolf: Personally, I hope that the
communication and exchange continues to be
as positive as we have already seen. This not
only strengthens the team concept and solidarity,
but also sustainably ensures, through more
joint projects, the company success of the
whole LB group. I would compare it to a football
team. Certainly, a trainer and a manager
are needed, as well as the eleven professional
players and those sitting on the bench who are
waiting to be used. It is essential to have a common
goal and a game plan which distinguishes
us from other teams and which allows us to
score points.
CENTRAL DISTRIBUTION
" Let's talk about the group "
Contact
Dirk Meyer offered an insight into central distribution during the Kick-off weekend
in Kalkar. Whilst every individual company of the divisions is distributing its
products independently using its own specialists, Dirk Meyer and his colleague
Michael Maas are responsible for the central distribution of the LB GmbH.
Dirk Meyer and Michael Maas are the distribution
support for all divisions. "If one of them
comes across an interesting event or thinks
that the LB GmbH or individual divisions
should be represented in certain media or at a
trade show, he can talk to us", Dirk Meyer says.
We offer support in the implementation and
also visit events in the name of the LB GmbH.
Networking, trade shows and talks -
on the road for LB
The already mentioned events, in which Dirk
Meyer and Michael Maas represent the group,
include, for example, regular meetings of the
LOG-IT Club, whose members also comprise
LB PLUS SPECIAL | 6

LB. Since the company had its origins in logistics
and still includes a capable logistics service
provider in Germany with the WM GROUP, it
is obvious that the LB is a member of the LOG-
IT Club, the sponsoring organisation of the
logistics cluster NRW. "An engaging exchange
amongst logisticians, from which all sides can
only profit, always takes place there. The aim
of this cluster is to turn North Rhine-Westphalia
into the logistics location number 1,"
Meyer explains. The two also regularly attend
trade shows and roadshows - multidisciplinary
and therefore with an eye on all divisions. "We
try to always represent the extensive portfolio
of our group, give talks and speak about the
group."
Acquiring new customers and looking for
new partners
The acquisition of new customers and looking for new partners are some of the duties of central distribution
Meyer and Mass currently look after several
customers who are interested in the topic logistics
mall. Meyer says: "We advise everybody:
the smaller customer who is only interested
in the area of eCommerce as well as the big
transport service providers who want to use
the mall extensively." There are also customers
who might want to handle their logistics
through LB GmbH and are currently in a kind
of partnership - also in the area of the mall
by Logata. As an illustration, Logata's Björn
Renzel demonstrated the logistics mall live.
With the help of the Process Designer, the user
can now utilise several products in the mall.
"From now on, communication between the
individual apps is also possible. Together with
the customer, we create completely individual
processes to suit the customer's requirements,"
Björn Renzel explains. For instance, stock
receipt, testing of certain, pre-determined
characteristics and storage are examples from
logistics. "In principle, this model can be used
for all industries," according to Renzel. This is
why the mall is so interesting for central distribution.
A large number of talks have already
been organised for the second quarter of the
year in which Michael Maas and Dirk Meyer
will introduce the products of the LB GmbH.
"Going for it with motivation"
"An event like the Kick-off is immensely
valuable for us. We learn even more about
the products of the group and we also get the
chance to connect faces to individual divisions
and products. That is really nice", Dirk Meyer
declares. You shouldn't hesitate to talk to the
two gentlemen if you have questions, suggestions
or ideas. "We are always motivated when
approaching things and want to convey this as
well.“ ◀
LOGISTICS
" Competencies in Logistics
- the WM GROUP »
As a logistics provider, the WM GROUP is basically the beginning, the foundation
of the LB GmbH. They started out as a haulage contractor 60 years.
Since then, the requirements have changed and expanded.
LB PLUS SPECIAL | 8

In the last 60 years, the Bocholt transport
company has turned into a logistics provider
with locations all over Germany and
with a comprehensive service spectrum.
Logistics - a broad service spectrum
"Our key focus is reliable storage, security
and availability of all goods," explains Managing
Director Günter Artinger. No matter
which requirements are placed on the experts
by the customer, they will be met:
Heated or non-heated areas, short-term or
long-term storage, block storage or high
rack, with or without additional services
such as security concepts or inventory - "we
create an individual and tailor-made offer
for every customer," Artinger affirms. This
is also confirmed by a few examples. For
example, there is a storage facility in Velpe
which is equipped with a special cooling
system. This created the optimal conditions
for storing, packing and commissioning of
cigarillos and cigars. In this case, the WM
GROUP is responsible for the whole spectrum.
In Hamminkeln on the contrary, an
area is provided as intermediate storage for
a textile company - a broad service spectrum.
On a map of Germany, the employ-
ees travelled from one location to the next
during the kick-off meeting.
keep the supply chain secure. Günter Artinger:
"Since we are the only ones who can
provide this in the area, we are the reliable
partner for many companies who need to
send air freight."
Training from the WM GROUP
Ludwig Barking is the air freight security
expert of the company who has been
trained according to the requirements of
the Federal Office of Civil Aviation and
performs all training of the employees.
"We also offer these training sessions to
other companies who would like to become
certified - at the moment, this is a definite
unique selling point," explains Managing
The fact that the WM GROUP is a socalled
"regulated agent" and therefore
is the only logistics provider in the area
which can safely send, store, commission
and pack air freight is a significant differentiating
factor when compared to its
competitors. The background: Since April
2013, air freight cannot be sent without appropriate
checks. Since the airports cannot
perform these checks by themselves - the
expenditure would be immense - it is up
to the logistics providers to ensure the
so-called "secure supply chain". "We
reacted straight away and got certified.
All employees were trained appropriately
to be able to access all areas of
our locations and work there. From
Artinger. If a "known consignor"
IT
" The Logistics Mall -
ahead of its time "
Werner Habryka is the Managing Director of Logata GmbH - a strong alliance
of IT companies within LB GmbH. In connection with the Fraunhofer
Institute, Logata has created a virtual marketplace, the Logistics Mall. What
advantages does the Mall have and who should and could use this marketplace
- an interview with Werner Habryka.
LB Plus: Mr. Habryka, the Logistics Mall
reached its third and final phase at the
end of 2013. Could you briefly summarise:
What is the Logistics Mall?
Werner Habryka: As already described, the
Logistics Mall is a virtual marketplace, on
which all software products are offered. In
phase 1, the products were offered in the
Mall and could be rented by users. When
phase 2 became active, the individual IT
solutions could communicate with each
other. Since then, standardised interfaces
enable the immediate release of a storage
location when the batch is released. We
therefore don't talk about single solutions
any more, but integrated solutions.
LB Plus: What advantages does access via
the Mall offer?
Managing Director Werner Habryka
LB PLUS SPECIAL | 10

Werner Habryka: It is no longer necessary
to pay for expensive licenses for different
software programmes. The user only pays
for what they use. We are currently advising
a customer in Bremen who would like
to use the Mall. The comparative values
we calculated showed that the Mall offers
a potential saving of more than 25 percent.
No more investment costs in hardware and
software, no maintenance costs, no energy
costs for the operation and cooling of the
sever, and the customer can focus all their
efforts on their core business.
LB Plus: And what about the provider?
Werner Habryka: For the provider, the
Mall is a sales platform. We have created
a completely new channel, which has the
effect that customers approach providers.
Providers of transport or supplied chain
management systems or warehouse management
systems which we already have in
the mall profit from the "pull". The more
providers and users are connected through
the Mall, the bigger the "pull".
LB Plus: In phase 3, a process designer was
added. How does the user benefit from this?
Werner Habryka: In the future, it will get
easier and easier to create a workflow out
of individual applications using the process
designer. The workflow will then run automatically.
Making the modules of a software
available as apps, however, will take
some time. Software development is heading
exactly in that direction and as a result,
apps will become the norm in the near future.
We are somewhat ahead of our time
with the process designer.
LB Plus: The Logistics Mall is a product of
the Logata group. You have taken up the
"We concept" with a virtual company.
Werner Habryka: Exactly. "The Mall
Company" was created to join the different
trades and companies of the group.
When we are talking about the Mall, we
work like one big company with different
departments and areas of responsibility.
LinogistiX is responsible for applications,
LogAgency for communication, Logata for
administration and project management,
and Lanfer Systemhaus for the smooth operation.
The "We concept" is crucial for the
success of our work.
" IT services
from a single source "
The Lanfer Systemhaus is the IT service provider of the LB GmbH. During Kick-off, Peter Zimmermann, Dominik
Neumann and Peter Tiemann gave detailed insights into the world of servers, computer centres and broadband
connections.
The IT division within the LB GmbH covers
a broad spectrum. "Together with LogAgency,
LinogistiX and Lanfer Automation we form a
strong alliance in the Logata group", commercial
manager Peter Zimmermann explains as
an introduction.
A strong team
34 employees and six apprentices work for
the Lanfer Systemhaus. Dominik Neumann is
one of them. The IT clerk trainee feels comfortable
within the company and is not the
only one who does. "The average period of
employment with Lanfer Systemhaus is 8.5
years. Eleven of the current employees have
been there for more than ten years", the apprentice
says while introducing the company.
Apart from the IT clerk, Lanfer Systemhaus
also trains IT specialists for system integration
and merchants for office management.
The key competencies
The IT specialists offer their services directly
from Schlavenhorst 88a in the industrial
park Mussum. The key competencies not
only include application support, pure data
storage and office communication but also
security topics such as data protection and
IT security. "We offer everything from simple
server rental to the complete managed service.
We offer network solutions and - one
of our unique selling points - we run our
own computer centre", Zimmermann says.
Especially in times of data theft and insecure
storage locations, it is even more important
for the customer to know where the data is
"located".
Security is essential
The computer centre in Gut Baarking fulfils
the highest security standards. More than
14 IT technicians - trained and equipped
with the necessary certificates - are always
on hand for support. "And this is to be taken
literally. If problems occur, the colleagues
are contactable 24 hours a day and seven days
a week," the commercial manager explains.
The area is marked off and guarded, the waste
heat created by the servers is cooled by stateof-the-art
air conditioning - the Lanfer Systemhaus
is a comprehensive partner when it
comes to IT infrastructure. A topic every
businessman is interested in. Zimmermann:
"Apart from a modern and well looked after
computer centre, safe data transport is also
important to avoid security breaches as much
as possible". The Lanfer Systemhaus has a safe
solution for this: Using their own fibre optic
ring, this point is also safeguarded.
Peter Tiemann, Peter Zimmermann and
Dominik Neumann from Lanfer Systemhaus

The computer centre of the Lanfer Systemhaus
"An interesting point which is not to be
sniffed at is the capacity that such a computer
centre offers. Currently, we host around
400 customer systems. Since we have had the
opportunity to use servers not just like big,
bulky cupboards, the capacity has increased
immensely," explains Zimmermann. Server
hardware can be reduced by virtualising it.
This specifically means: Using particular technologies,
many applications can be stored on
one system.
The Lanfer Systemhaus:
Partners when it comes to broadband
Broadband supply for Bocholt's businesses
is a joint project with the business development
of the city of Bocholt and Bocholt's
energy and water supply. "It is especially important
in the economic area to have a fast,
reliable and affordable internet connection",
explains Peter Tiemann, who supported the
project. Broadband offers fast data transfer
in both directions - a feature conventional
DSL simply couldn't offer. Tiemann continues:
"Nothing is possible without the internet.
To ensure "a lot" can happen and that data is
sent quickly and on a larger scale, an optimal
connection to the net is imperative." The customer
receives the professional broadband
connection via a so-called Point of Presence
(POP) directly in their industrial area. The
lines are wired radially and are operated
through a central provider (e.g. Telekom).
"Depending on the version, we can install
several of these 'BackBone connections' or a
fibre optic line. This is always discussed individually
with the customer and adapted to the
individual needs", Tiemann says.
Available across Germany and the world
By no means are the professional broadband
connections through Lanfer Systemhaus limited
to Bocholt and its surrounding area. Finally
Peter Tiemann explains: "If somewhere in
Germany at least three business join up, we can
also provide a broadband POP there".
In addition, the services of the computer
centre can also be used worldwide. Peter
Tiemann finally adds: "With a good internet
connection, customers from all over the
world can rely on our services and resort to
them". ◀
From switch cabinet construction via plant modernisation right through
to the automation of a whole building and the increasingly popular energy
LB PLUS SPECIAL | 14

With its headquarters in Borken-Weseke,
Lanfer Automation is a leading company when
it comes to individual solutions for automation
and switch cabinet manufacture, and that
throughout Germany. In an interesting lecture
and brief films Marcus Kuhlmann demonstrates
what the experts from Borken can do.
Industrial automation
fast, reliable and professional
Lanfer Automation is able to draw on experience
and skill built up over many years for the
planning, design and realisation of complete
and complex automation solutions in all areas.
"We are able to cover the complete spectrum
in electrical engineering and always adapt to
your individual needs," explains Markus Kuhlmann.
The expert knows that a higher level of
profitability as a result of optimised processes
is in greater demand than ever before and the
logical consequence of Lanfer Automation's
work
Building automation -recognizing and exploiting
the potential for savings
in your building
It started with a vision which came into
Managing Director Alfred Lanfer's mind a few
years ago and refused to go away: an intelligent
building that uses IT solutions to direct
the focus to what is important whilst saving
energy. "Nowadays our
company
headquarters
in Borken
has been modernised appropriately and is the
best possible demonstration of what can be
achieved through building automation," says
Kuhlmann. The conference room, for example,
can be booked virtually, and when in use the
temperature is optimised through heating in
the winter and cooling in the summer.
"Sensors - and this is what is special about it
- inform the air conditioning, heating, lighting
and shade systems so that they ensure an optimal
climate and perfect lighting conditions
in the room," explains Markus Kuhlmann. The
data is collected so that after only a short time
the first graphs of requirements are available
and maintenance tasks can be identified at an
early stage. The conference rooms in Borken-Weseke
are also equipped with illuminated
door handles so that one can tell from outside
whether a room is occupied or free. "The potential
for savings in energy consumption and
time management are obvious and of interest
to many of our, and perhaps also to your, customers,"
Kuhlmann asserts.
The linking of the individual trades with
one another is a completely distinctive feature
brought about by Lanfer Automation's staff.
Intralogistics The basis for an optimal flow
of goods
Good, satisfactory logistics
proceed from a
smooth flow of goods.
"For that the individual
processes
must coordinate
perfectly with
one another, and we achieve this through tailor-made
solutions," says Kuhlmann. "We are
a reliable partner and guarantee tailor-made
systems for the decisive processes." With their
carefully trained eye, the experts at Lanfer Automation
identify potential for improvement,
plan and realise the automation process.
Energy monitoring - detect and remedy
weak areas
Says Markus Kuhlmann, "The fourth, and
still very new, pillar of Lanfer Automation is
so-called energy monitoring. Through this we
are reacting to current developments: energy
prices are rising and nobody can afford or
wants to waste energy." By means of software
which analyses the energy consumption within
a company, the consumption of individual
machines or whole plants can be recorded in
detail.
"The aim is to introduce optimisation measures
based on the results of the monitoring.
This software is definitely of interest for a wide
range of potential customers, such as local municipalities,
businesses, industry and the housing
industry.
Businesses in particular are taking a closer
look at the topic of "saving energy"," the expert
explains.
Industrial automation, building automation,
intralogistics and energy
monitoring - Lanfer Automation is
your skilled partner for automation
solutions. ◀
" The specialist for digital
business processes - LogAgency "
LogAgency was founded in 2002 and promises "secure digital
business processes". Customer requirements are key, and LogAgency
accommodates these with solutions such as the SCM data processing
platform.
Christian Rybak, Managing Director of LogAgency,
which is based in Dortmund, also
used the kick-off meeting to explain what the
IT company has to offer: "Secure digital business
processes - the guiding principle of LogAgency
- epitomises the desire to open up optimisation
possibilities to the customer, which
comply with the current demands of Supply
Chain Management (SCM). This type of information
logistics is our core competency and
also represents the core business."
"Security as a key to success"
All of LogAgency's services are operated as
so-called SaaS processes (Software as a Service)
and are offered to customers as cloudbased
services. Christian Rybak summarises:
"Data, which is transmitted using secure access
(directly or using the cloud) to the LogAgency
SCM data processing platform, is handled
individually with fully automated processes
and sent on to the corresponding recipients."
"Communication security naturally also plays
an important role in our business. Apart from
topics such as performance, reliability, effectiveness
and efficiency, security in the areas
of communication and processing is the key
Even during a company's transition phase
from postal to electronic invoicing, the entire
outgoing invoice process can be moved to LogAgency,
by printing and sending invoices (in
full or in part) using a lettershop. "And what
applies to outgoing invoices to customers, also
applies to incoming invoices from suppliers.
LogAgency also offers a fully integrated process
to success." It must be ensured at all times
that data cannot be accessed by unauthorised
people and can only be sent from the correct
sender to the correct recipient. "From the start,
we used the most up to date security technologies.
Protecting customer data is protecting
our business."
The SCM data processing platform as a solution
Processes, which can be implemented along
the Supply Chain using individual LogAgency
modules (so-called "eModules"), can be used
for a wide range of requirements in a wide
variety of topics. The SCM data processing
platform is the linchpin of the data exchange
between business partners and offers a multi-faceted
performance spectrum to realise
individual customer requirements. It enables
us to accept data of different message types or
formats, process them and send them to the
respective recipients. If a customer-specific
process is set up, a permanent data exchange
takes place between business partners, using
the LogAgency SCM data processing platform.
An example: "eDocuments" - invoice processing
("eInvoicing")
All processes for the areas "Outgoing invoices
to customers" and "Incoming invoices
from suppliers" can be implemented using
individual LogAgency modules. Outgoing
invoices are sent to the SCM data processing
platform. They can for example be converted
there, signed with a qualified electronic signature
(optional) - also with optional signature
test - and can then be sent to the invoice recipient
using a range of output channels. Additionally,
the invoices can be archived using
the "eArchive" module. Rybak: "The individual
output channels for invoice transmission in
" More than just
furniture "
The Managing Directors Maximilian Löhr and Christian Wienand from Bocholt
and Jens Altenhenne who manages LEBO in Mecklenburg's Krakow
am See, introduced the company LEBO on the second day of the Kick-off.
LB PLUS SPECIAL | 20

Lebo is a company with a lot of heritage.
Founded in 1871 in the city centre of Bocholt
as a carpenter's workshop, the LEBO GmbH
now employs 210 employees in Bocholt and
Krakow am See. "We now produce roughly
290,000 doors and 230,000 frames per year
which we distribute worldwide", explains
Christian Wienand.
Technology and design - always in motion
Experts know that the door has become
more and more a piece of furniture and not
just a hole in the wall. The quality goods are
produced in their own manufacturing facility
in Bocholt and distributed to the trade from
there. With DCT - Door Consumer Trade -
the Lebo GmbH has also created a place for
a factory outlet which offers doors to the private
buyer.
If you look at the sales trend of previous
years, it is easy to spot that the curve has a
clear upwards trend. "For this year we have
planned a new drilling lane, which we have
already looked at in the past few weeks",
Maximilian Löhr announces. "We will build
it between Christmas and the New Year and
optimise the processes even further."
Not only in the production is LEBO constantly
evolving. The design sector constantly
develops new models. "Whilst the surfaces
had to be as smooth as possible in previous
years, many customers now request visible
knotholes and the so-called natural look," explains
Christan Wienand. Many models from
classic to unusual can be viewed at the large
exhibition in Händelstraße - perfect to get an
overview of the product range. This product
range is constantly optimised, further developed
and adapted to meet the requirements of
the market. In the near future - so the Managing
Director announces - more time will be
devoted to work on a premium collection.
(Krakow am See) GmbH. Managing Director
Jens Altenhenne travelled especially to
the event and brought frame components to
demonstrate the different production steps.
Unbeatable consistency
Service and customer satisfaction are of the
utmost importance for LEBO. The customer
normally gets the order confirmation within
24 hours and offers are processed within 48
hours. "In many companies it is still a common
practice to go into company holidays in
the summer months. We do not do that. For
over five years, our production never stops so
that we can always guarantee reliable delivery
times", Christian Wienand explains.
The Export-Offensive
LEBO produces in Bocholt and Krakow am
See. Yet, LEBO doors and frames can be found
in many parts of the world. "Over the years,
we have established representative offices in
Russia, Romania and the United Kingdom
and we also export to Canada, Turkey, Mongolia,
Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
From printed adverts to professional corporate videos - wm.mediapro
GmbH is the point of contact in LB GmbH when it comes to media. The creative
the kick-off meeting.
Almost epic music, combined with impressive
images, edited together in a captivating
way - the wm.mediapro GmbH introduced
themselves as the media division with their
favourite, the moving image.
From corporate film to video guides
"We produce professional moving images,
from corporate videos to product films, animations
to sound and logo design" explains
Managing Director Ann-Kathrin Löhr. "One
of our newest products is the video guide.
Using short films, new employees can for example
receive a consistent security briefing,
or have the option to have the operation of
machines explained to them in moving images
- if requested, this is also possible in
multiple languages. This saves time and creates
a uniform basis." In previous months,
production staff have already realised several
projects in this area - in a wide variety
of sectors: Hygiene and safety regulations for
working with baked goods, machine operation
in wood processing, and the individual
processing steps involved in commissioning
- "As you can see, the use of product video
guides is completely flexible, and every
company can only benefit from it," explains
Ann-Kathrin Löhr. "Likewise with product
films. In the age of Youtube and Facebook,
the moving image is easy to memorise and
spreads quickly." Visualisation and explanation
of individual products - wm.mediapro
GmbH can do that, too.
During the kick-off event, part of the wm.mediapro
Since spring, the team also puts their creativity
clearly aimed at the more mature reader. And
the LB Plus, which you hold in your hands, is
another product of the wm.mediapro print division:
The team regularly summarises news,
