Kampüsü’nde gerçekleşen IPFYE<br />
Enerji Kongresi’nde, Türkiyeli bürokratlar<br />
ile enerji sektörünün önde gelen isimlerini,<br />
bürokratları ve akademisyenleri ağırladı.<br />
Kongre, 11 ülkeden akademisyen, iş adamı<br />
ve öğrenciye ev sahipliği yaptı. Ekonomik<br />
pazar bağlamında enerji, enerji sektörünün<br />
geleceği, sektörde girişimcilik ve enerji<br />
hukuku konularının ele alındığı kongrede<br />
açılış konuşmasını yapan Başbakan<br />
Yardımcısı Bülent Arınç, bulunduğu coğrafya<br />
itibarıyla zengin doğal gaz ve petrol<br />
rezervlerine komşu olan Türkiye’nin, kaynak<br />
ülkelerle tüketici piyasaları arasında<br />
güvenli bir köprü vazifesi görmeye devam<br />
edeceğini belirterek, Doğu-Batı enerji koridorunun<br />
öncüleri olan Irak-Türkiye ve<br />
Bakü-Tiflis-Ceyhan ham petrol boru hatlarının<br />
tamamlanmasının ardından, Bakü-<br />
Tiflis-Erzurum Doğal Gaz Boru Hattı’nın<br />
işler hale getirildiğini anlattı.<br />

Istanbul Bilgi University International<br />
Platform for Young Entrepreneurs<br />
(IPFYE) organized the IPFYE Energy<br />
Congress on October <strong>24</strong>-25 in Santral<br />
Istanbul campus, gathering bureaucrats,<br />
academicians and leading figures of the<br />
energy sector. Congress hosted academicians,<br />
businessmen and students from 11<br />
countries. Main discussion topics were<br />
energy within the scope of economic markets,<br />
future of the energy sector, entrepreneurship<br />
in the sector and energy law.<br />
Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç made<br />
an opening speech at the congress, and<br />
stated that Turkey, which is surrounded<br />
by rich natural gas and oil reserves, will<br />
continue to act as a reliable bridge between<br />
upstream states and consumer markets.<br />
Arınç underlined that, following the completion<br />
of Iraq-Turkey and Baku-Tbilisi-<br />
Ceyhan crude oil pipelines which are the<br />
pioneers of East-West energy corridor,<br />
Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum Natural Gas<br />
Pipeline became operational.<br />
