Events & Programs 1 Chamber thanks members for their support at the Annual Open House 2 The Board of Directors for the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce treated members to a “holiday party to remember” on December 11 this year. “This was the best attended holiday open house we’ve had in a long time,” said Jennifer Wells, Chamber CEO. “Businesses are the reason we exist so to have so many business members come to the office and share in the holiday spirit was really special.” The Open House ran from 3:30 - 6:30 in the afternoon and over the course of the day more than 150 representatives from member businesses stopped by to partake of food, drinks, door prizes and cheer. “We do this every year for our members to show them how much we appreciate their support throughout the year,” said Chairman Charles Sandlin from Roadrunner Shuttle & Limousine Service. “It was amazing to me to see how many of our Chamber friends came out to join us this year.” 8 3 7 4 1. Chamber honors local educator with award for excellence November 15, 2012 the Camarillo Chamber honored third grade teacher Diane Yamashiro of Tierra Linda Elementary School with the first of six Educator of the Month Awards to be given out this school year. The Educator of the Month Program is designed to honor local educators who are going above and beyond to support the youth of Camarillo. The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be an elegant gathering of some of the most respected residents and businesspeople in Camarillo.
