False <strong>Report</strong>: Deputies responded to a resident who<br />

reported he was the victim of a robbery while walking<br />

in the area of Route 7. It was later determined the<br />

incident was a false report. The 33-year-old Sterling<br />

man was issued a summons for falsely summoning<br />

law enforcement.<br />

Purse Snatching: The victim was walking in the area<br />

when an unknown Black male grabbed her purse and<br />

fled on foot. The subject was further described as<br />

being in his 20’s, 5’8” tall with a thin build and<br />

wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt at the time of the<br />

incident. The area was searched but no suspect<br />

matching this description was located.<br />

Fight/Assault on Law Enforcement: Deputies<br />

responded to the area for a reported fight in progress.<br />

As a deputy was attempting to take a disorderly<br />

female subject into custody, she struck the deputy<br />

several times. Franchesca L. Wiley, 26, of Leesburg,<br />

was charged with assault on law enforcement,<br />

disorderly conduct and a summons for public<br />

intoxication. Also charged was Sassafrass A. Wiley,<br />

22, of Manassas, with obstruction of justice,<br />

disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Two other<br />

subjects were charged with public intoxication at the<br />

scene. The deputy was taken to a local hospital where<br />

she was treated and released.<br />

and removed cash. A rear door was damaged to gain<br />

Missing Person: Deputies responded to the area for a<br />

report of a missing 67-year-old male with<br />

Alzheimer’s. An aerial and ground search was<br />

conducted with the assistance of the Fairfax <strong>County</strong><br />

Police Department Helicopter and the Leesburg<br />

Police Department. The missing man was located safe<br />

and sound.<br />
