130 A Large and Varied Assortment of Issued Railroad
Shares from the 1920s through 1970s.
A wide assortment of well-known, and not so wellknown
titles. The only exception is a group of 30+
modern Union Pacific Railroads. A nice starting inventory
for anyone who wants to break into the railroad
share business, or for a collector who wants a
great head start on creating a comprehensive collection
of railroad names. Most are issued, cancelled, and
in Very Fine+ or better condition. Must be seen. Sold
as is. [229] Est. 300-500
131 Extraordinary Grouping of Unissued Railroad
Shares, with Little Duplication.
The emphasis is on quality in this unusual group of
unissued railroad shares. The man who originally
owned these certificates was obviously trying to build
a reference collection of U.S. rails. Most have no dates,
but from the certificate designs, many are from the
1880s and 1890s. Many scarcer railroads, impossible
to find issued, are included. Must be seen. Sold as is.
Mostly UU, and the average grade is EF. [195]
Est. 300-500
132 Impaired Bond and Share Box Lot.
Mostly railroads. Some heavily cancelled, with stains,
or other problems. Included are many nice titles, and
some issues that are only available with impairments.
Many are suitable for framing, or for display against a
neutral background. Perhaps $1000 or more at retail.
There is some hidden value here, and this lot should
be carefully examined. Roughly 72 bonds, 143 shares.
Sold as is. No returns. [215] Est. 300-500
133 British Shares.
Aladdin Renew Electric Lamp; Ivory Coast Goldfields;
Martins Cigar Shippers; Oceana Consolidated; Standard
Exploration. [5] Est. 100-150
