A lovely group of four large silver medals with the<br />

most popular being an issue struck to commemorate<br />

the addition of Alaska as the 49th state. Total silver<br />

weight is approximately 17 ounces. All remain housed<br />

in their original box. Sold as is, no returns. [4]<br />

1554 Grouping of Medals, Tokens, and Miscellany.<br />

Largely modern with highlights being a 1oz silver<br />

round, a small amount of silver slag that is labeled as<br />

from the San Francisco Mint, an error medal with a<br />

full brockage from the 1909 Hudson-Fulton celebration,<br />

a low grade Connecticut copper, a Hard Times<br />

token, as well as several silver non-numismatic items.<br />

In-person inspection is recommended. Sold as is, no<br />

and Charles Black, Publishers. Book Condition: Very<br />

Good. 1887. 3 volumes. Large 4to. Three quarter<br />

crushed morocco over marbled boards. Endpapers<br />

marbled. Top edges gilt. Spines in six compartments,<br />

with raised bands, decorated in gilt. Vol. 1: xxiii, 365<br />

pp.; Vol. 2: xviii, 556 pp.; Vol. 3: vi pp. + 78 heliogravure<br />

plates with accompanying text. Rubbing to<br />

raised bands, edges of binding, corners, leather missing<br />

in spots. Overall a sound copy. EX.BIBLIO-<br />

THECA.G,F.ET.M.HILL bookplate inside board on<br />

all three volumes. Sir George Francis Hill was Director,<br />
