1374 1936 Elgin 50 Cents. PCGS MS64. Sporadic yellow
and blue tone adorns the surfaces with little evidence
of contact marks. Slight incompleteness of strike
might have contributed to the lack of a Gem designation.
Housed in a first generation PCGS holder.
Est. 100-150
1368
1368 1893 Isabella 25 Cents. PCGS MS63. Sharply defined
with pastel coloration in the centers that intensifies
toward the edges. One of the most popular
commemorative types. Housed in a first generation
PCGS holder. (photo) Est. 200-400
1369 1900 Lafayette 1 Dollar. XF Details, Cleaned. Variegated
toning covers both sides with underlying reflectivity
that confirms previous cleaning. Still, a
sought-after key in any grade and the only commemorative
silver dollar in the classic series.
Est. 200-300
1370 1919 Alabama “2x4” 50 Cents. AU. A low-mintage
commemorative issue with essentially full luster in the
fields and a touch of friction on the highpoints that
define the grade. Very attractive for the grade.
Est. 200-400
1375
1375 1936 Gettysburg 50 Cents. PCGS MS65. Due to
its Civil War theme, the Gettysburg commemorative is
among the most sought in the entire series with demand
at every grade level. The surfaces of the present
are certainly above-average with the reverse shield,
often full of marks, being relatively clean. Wispy pastel
coloration rounds out the appeal. (photo)
Est. 300-500
1376 1918 Lincoln 50 Cents. PCGS MS63. A popular
commemorative featuring the bust of one of our most
transformative Presidents with soft toning on both
sides and few grade-limiting ticks. Housed in a first
generation PCGS holder. Est. 80-120
1377 1936 Long Island 50 Cents. PCGS MS64. Aboveaverage
luster enchants the eye with some light milky
patina on both sides. Housed in a first generation
PCGS holder. Est. 60-80
1371
1371 1936 Albany 50 Cents. PCGS MS66. An impressive
mark-free specimen with an overlay of speckled
brown and iridescent multicolored patina. One of the
more popular designs in the classic commemorative
half dollar series. Housed in a first generation PCGS
holder. (photo) Est. 200-400
1372 1936 Albany 50 Cents. PCGS MS65. Obviously
stored similarly to the previous lot with multicolored
iridescence over both sides with a light brownish
speckling. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder.
Est. 200-300
1373 1936 Cleveland 50 Cents. PCGS MS64. Even
golden color with very few marks for the grade. Decidedly
premium quality. Housed in a first generation
PCGS holder. Est. 60-80
1378
1378 1938 New Rochelle 50 Cents. PCGS MS65. Roseorange
and yellow tinged with few marks and enchanting
luster. (photo) Est. 200-400
