1303 Trio of Uncirculated 1886 Morgan Dollars. A brilliant
group with the nicest of the bunch being Select.
[3] Est. 100-150
1304 1886-S 1 Dollar. Uncirculated. Intricately defined
throughout with effulgent luster and untoned centers.
Several slide marks on Liberty’s cheek are evident and
would likely limited this piece to the MS62 grade.
Est. 150-250
1312 Quintet of Uncirculated 1891 Morgan Dollars. All
are low-end circulated examples with moderate
amounts of marks atop mostly untoned surfaces. Sold
as is, no returns. [5] Est. 200-300
1313 Trio of Uncirculated 1891-S Morgan Dollars.
1) PCI (Green) MS62PQ. Semi-prooflike.
2-3) Uncirculated. [3] Est. 150-250
1305 Quartet of Uncirculated 1887 Morgan Dollars.
1) Select Uncirculated.
2-4) Uncirculated. All remain essentially brilliant. [4]
Est. 150-250
1306 Septet of 1887-S Morgan Dollars. All examples
hover around the Uncirculated grade with several
specimens having been hairlined from past cleaning.
[7] Est. 300-500
1307 1888-S 1 Dollar. Uncirculated Details, Cleaned. A
better San Francisco date at all grade levels with the
present maintaining ample luster with a mixture of
light hairlines that are evident when rotated beneath
a light. Est. 100-150
1308 Pair of 1889-S Morgan Dollars.
1) Uncirculated. Moderately marked, but meeting the
qualification of a low-end uncirculated example.
2) AU. Lustrous with considerable scruffiness on Liberty’s
cheek. [2] Est. 150-250
1309 1890-S 1 Dollar. PCI (Gold) MS63 Prooflike. Decidedly
prooflike with stark contract between the
frosted centers and mirrored fields. While the grade is
perhaps ambitious by a point, the prooflike quality is
indisputable. Est. 100-150
1310 Trio of Uncirculated 1890-S Morgan Dollars. All
three border the Select tier with one displaying semiprooflike
surfaces. [3] Est. 100-150
1314
1314 1891-CC 1 Dollar. Near-Gem Uncirculated. VAM
-3, Spitting Eagle. Very lightly marked with impeccable
frostly luster and traces of burnt-orange coloration
around portions of the edges. * At time of catalog
production, coin was at certification company - will
be sold graded * (photo) Est. 400-600
1315 1891-CC 1 Dollar. Uncirculated Details, Cleaned.
Still quite flashy with light hairlines in the obverse
fields. Est. 150-250
1316 Pair of 1891-CC Morgan Dollars.
1) AU. VAM-3, Spitting Eagle. Prooflike reflectivity
exists in the protected areas.
2) AU Details, Cleaned. Bright from a past cleaning.
[2] Est. 200-300
1317 Pair of 1892-S Morgan Dollars.
1) AU Details, Cleaned.
2) VF. [2] Est. 150-250
1318 1892-S 1 Dollar. NGC XF Details, Improperly
Cleaned. A deeply toned better date with moderate
wear on the highpoints. Badly in need of a new holder,
as its present one is cloudly as a result of significant
scratches. Est. 100-150
1311
1311 1890-CC 1 Dollar. Uncirculated. A better date Carson
City issue with typical thick frost and light marks
on Liberty’s cheek that preclude the Select level.
(photo) Est. 300-400
1319 1892-O 1 Dollar. Uncirculated. Exceptionally frosty
with considerable marks on the obverse that limit the
grade. Est. 80-120
1320 Quintet of 1892-O Morgan Dollars. Grades range
from VF to AU with numerous problem examples of
note. A slightly better date. Sold as is, no returns. [5]
Est. 150-250
