1293 1884-S 1 Dollar. AU. Nearly fully lustrous with light
friction on Liberty’s hair curls. Est. 150-250
1294 1884-O/O 1 Dollar. NGC MS65. VAM-7A, R.5.
The surfaces remain boldly lustrous with apricot color
on the obverse and a tone-free reverse. While unattributed
on the NGC holder, magnification reveals the
tell-tale signs of doubled O variety with some die rust
near the ED in UNITED. Est. 100-150
1295 Quintet of 1884-O Morgan Dollars. All remain
fully detailed with several slightly impaired examples
within. Sold as is, no returns. [5] Est. 150-250
1296 Pair of Select 1884-CC Morgan Dollars. Both remain
essentially brilliant. [2] Est. 200-300
1298
1299 1885-S 1 Dollar. Uncirculated. A better date S-
Mint issue with mostly brilliant surfaces. Nearly Select
in quality with a few flyspeck marks on Liberty’s cheek
that may prevent the grade level. Est. 150-250
1300 Trio of 1885-S Morgan Dollars.
1) Uncirculated Details, Cleaned.
2) Choice AU Details, Tooling. 3) AU Details, Damaged.
[3] Est. 250-350
1301 1885-O 1 Dollar. PCI (Green) MS63 Deep Mirror
Prooflike. Deep watery mirrors are evident on both
sides with white surfaces throughout. At the time, PCI
also classified the coin as PQ and 90% white. Today,
the assigned grade seems correct as marks on Liberty’s
cheek would prevent the MS64 grade.
Est. 100-150
1297
1297 1885 1 Dollar. Select Uncirculated. A premium and
classically toned Morgan with the ideal color transition
that blankets the obverse with a partially toned
reverse. * At time of catalog production, coin was at
certification company - will be sold graded * (photo)
Est. 300-500
1302
1302 1885-CC 1 Dollar. Near-Gem Uncirculated. A
low-mintage better Carson City issue with frosty untoned
surfaces. A heavily demanded date, especially at
this nicely preserved level. * At time of catalog production,
coin was at certification company - will be
sold graded * (photo) Est. 400-600
