1259 1860-O 1 Dollar. XF Details, Cleaned. Cleaned at
one time, but since then nicely retoned with sharp surface
detail and few marks. A truly historic issue that
was struck just prior to the start of the Civil War that
would result in the New Orleans Mint shifting over
to Confederate control. (photo) Est. 300-500
1266 1878 8TF 1 Dollar. NGC MS64. Untoned with
fully prooflike obverse surfaces. A better variety.
Est. 250-350
Dollars. An attractive threesome with two borderline
Select examples. [3] Est. 200-300
1268 Quintet of 1878 - 8 Tailfeathers Morgan Dollars.
A slightly better date with detail ranging from AU to
Uncirculated. Several examples have minor impairments.
[5] Est. 200-300
1269 1878 Weak 7/8 TF 1 Dollar. Uncirculated. An attractive
golden-tinged rims and lustrous centers. Several luster
grazes in the field to the left of Liberty’s eye preclude
the Select moniker. Est. 80-120
1262 1871 1 Dollar. XF Details, Graffiti. Champagne,
sherbert, and purple tone graces much of the surfaces
