1224 1917-D Type One 25 Cents. AU Details, Cleaned.
Essentially tone-free and nicely detailed with well-disguised
hairlines in the fields and brightening of the
highpoints. Est. 150-250
1230 Pair of Standing Liberty Quarters.
1) 1917 Type One. Uncirculated Details, Environmental
Damage. Typical matte finish with a touch of
corrosion at Liberty’s feet.
2) 1926. Uncirculated Details, Lightly Cleaned. Still
fully lustrous with some hazy tone on both sides. [2]
Est. 60-80
1231 Trio of Uncirculated 1932 Washington Quarters.
All nicely preserved threesome with varying gradients
of pastel color from years of storage in paper envelopes.
1225
1225 1917 Type Two 25 Cents. PCGS MS64 Full
Head. Sharply struck and lustrous with impressive
russet coloration around portions of the edges - a very
collectible item as such. Housed in a first generation
PCGS holder. (photo) Est. 500-700
1232
1226
1232 1801 50 Cents. VG. O-102, R.4. A wholesome example
of this very scarce date with considerable, but
even wear atop obverse and reverse surfaces. Iridescent
tone sits in the fields and pleasingly accents the
soft gray highpoints. (photo) Est. 700-900
1226 1917 Type Two 25 Cents. PCGS MS64. Maintaining
an unquestionably premium eye appeal with
vibrant luster in the centers and flashy russet-orange
patina that enlivens much of the edges. Worthy of a
premium bid. Housed in a first generation PCGS
holder. (photo) Est. 200-400
1227 1917 Type Two 25 Cents. Full Head Uncirculated.
Sharply struck with mostly white surfaces that
have traces of color clinging to the central design and
peripheral devices. Est. 100-150
1228 1926-D 25 Cents. PCGS MS60. Fully lustrous with
contact marks on both sides that define the grade.
Housed in a first generation PCGS holder.
Est. 100-150
1229 1929 25 Cents. PCGS AU58 Full Head. Delicate
luster sits on both the obverse and reverse with a
nearly imperceptible amount of friction on Liberty’s
leg. Housed in a first generation PCGS holder.
Est. 60-80
1233
1233 1805 50 Cents. XF. O-110, R.4. A tougher die marriage
of this early Draped Bust half dollar type with
surfaces, that unlike many of its fellow survivors, show
little loss of the highpoint detail with traces of original
luster that cling to the protected devices. No eyedistracting
marks are seen over either side, further
elevating the desirability of the present specimen.
Worthy of careful consideration from the collector by
date or die marriage. (photo) Est. 600-800
