January 15-16, 2013 - New York, NY
1174
1174 1881 10 Cents. PCGS PR63. Mintage: 975. One
of the more attractive examples in the partial set with
gleaming mirrors and an eye-catching display of toning
that showcases soft color on the obverse and more
vibrant blues and purples on the reverse. Housed in a
first generation PCGS holder. (photo) Est. 300-500
1179 Group of Seated Dimes. A selection of mostly better
Seated dimes of the following dates: 1864-S (2),
1867-S, 1873 Open 3, 1876-CC, 1877-CC, 1891-S.
A lot worthy of close inspection as the three early S-
Mint representatives within are low mintage issues
with values that vary widely with their condition. [7]
Est. 300-500
1177 1885-S 10 Cents. Good Details, Cleaned. A challenging
low-mintage issue with a bold shield for grade
level. Perfect for the date collector that has taken on
the praise-worthy task of assembling a Seated dime
set. Est. 200-300
1178 Pair of Seated Dimes.
1) 1875-S Mintmark Below Bow. Choice AU. Lustrous
with the often weak reverse design and fields
that show billowy purple-brown color.
2) 1887-S. Uncirculated Details, Environmental
Damage. Still very presentable with some apparent
discoloration and microgranularity. [2]
Est. 150-250
1181 1897-O 10 Cents. VF. High-end for the grade level
Est. 200-400
1182 1912-D 10 Cents. PCGS MS62. Minimally abraded
