iridescent blue and yellow-brown coloration visible<br />

1168 1872-CC 10 Cents. PCGS VF Details, Cleaning.<br />

A rare example of this early Carson City Mint dime<br />

with some granularity in the fields from past handling<br />

and cleaning. A key target for the set builder and often<br />

much more expensive in problem-free grades. From a<br />

1166 1868 10 Cents. PCGS PR63. Mintage: 600. An especially<br />

attractive example with mirrors and vivid iridescent<br />

cobalt-blue, lime-green, and rose-orange tone<br />

on the obverse with the addition of purple color on<br />

the reverse. A relatively low mintage proof issue.<br />

gorgeous representative that is well suited for the<br />

proof type collector with a ring of lime-green and blue<br />

color around the peripheries with rose-orange centers.<br />

The mirrors retain pleasing depth with few observed<br />

700. Lightly handled with soft gray, blue, and russetorange<br />

more appealing than the typical PR60 with attractive<br />

blue patina over the surfaces. Close inspection shows<br />

a large planchet striation (as-made) that runs through<br />

the upper portion of Liberty’s portrait. Housed in a<br />

first generation PCGS holder. Est. 150-250<br />

1171 1879 10 Cents. PCGS PR62. Mintage: 1,100.<br />

Deeply reflective with a multitude of color on the surfaces.<br />

Light hairlines define the grade. Housed in a<br />

Pleasingly toned with light hairlines and minor incompleteness<br />

in strike. Housed in a first generation<br />

1173 1880 10 Cents. PCGS PR60. Mintage: 1,355. Decidedly<br />

choice for the grade with deep mirrors and a<br />

desirable mixture of blue, blue-green, orange, and<br />
