flashy antique patina mixed into otherwise gray surfaces,<br />

1090 Switzerland, Bern 5 Batzen, 1811, leftward facing<br />

bear inside crowned shield, wreath surrounding, rev.<br />

value in circular wreath (KM 170), key of the four-year<br />

type with yellowish color on both side, striking weakness<br />

is evident in the reverse wreath, pleasingly original, Uncirculated.<br />

(KM 381), scarce one-year type with a mintage of<br />

1089 Sweden, Adolf Frederick (1751-1771), 4 Ore,<br />

1771-AL, crowned monogram, rev. crown above<br />

three crowns inside circle, flanked by initials and value,<br />

date below (KM 506), one-year type with a mintage of<br />

21,000 coins, wispy golden color sits atop gray surfaces,<br />

microgranularity in planchet, very fine.<br />

1091 Switzerland, 5 Francs, 1850-A, Helvetia seated with<br />

shield, right hand outstretched, rev. date and denomination<br />

within wreath (KM 11), semi-prooflike with<br />

purple and navy-blue toning, a single mark behind Helvetia’s<br />

head, first year of this short-lived type, uncirculated.<br />

Century coins, silver and AE, includes: Assam — Rupees<br />

(2), ½ Rupees (2) and ¼ Rupees (2), Barbados<br />

“I Serve” Penny, French Guiana 2 Sous (4), Dalmatia<br />

& Albania 2 Soldi, Denmark (10), Portugal<br />

AE(2), Brazil AE(2), Angola 2 Macutas, Bolivia Cob<br />

Reales (2), and others, also a much-salved el Cazador<br />

8 Reales (broken edge), about fine-extremely fine.<br />

1093 Massive Remainder of World Coinage. An ideal<br />

dealer lot that would be perfectly suited for “value<br />

bin” placement. Contents include a wide range of primarily<br />

20th century base metal issues - most of which<br />

have been placed in stapled 2x2s and labeled by country.<br />

Other contents include an Irish mint set, a medal<br />

from the 1899 Paris Universal Exposition, as well as<br />

1938 U.S. Mint medal. Several hundred items are included<br />

- and should be inspected. Sold as is, no returns.<br />
