Soviet Medal group, Armed Forces, Labor and Law Enforcement, all Cold War era: Medal for Distinguished Military Service, first and second class; Long Service and Good Conduct in the Armed Forces Medal, first class (20 years); Armed Forces Veteran Medal; Medal for Valiant Labor; Distinguished Labor; Labor Veteran; Irreproachable Service in the MVD, first class (20 years), and second class (15 years). The first two on screwback suspensions, the others all on ribbons with brooch plates. About extremely fine-extremely fine. (9) Est. 150-250 Soviet Badges 1065 Proficiency Badges Excellent Cook Badge. Brass and enamels. Ca. late 1940’s-1950’s. Pobeda factory, Moscow screwplate. Extremely Fine. Est. 90-120 1066 USSR Lot of (7) Badges: Excellent Sniper, Excellent Machine Gunner, Excellent Artilleryman, Excellent Mine Layer, Excellent Combat Engineer, Excellent Signal Corps, Excellent Driver. Brass and enamels. Generally 1950’s or later. Extremely fine. [7] Est. 100-150 1067 USSR Lot of (6) Badges: Excellent Railway Troops, Excellent Reconnaissance Scout, Excellent Antiaircraft Gunnery, Excellent Road Construction, Excellent Rifleman, Excellent Mortar Man. Brass and enamels. Generally 1950’s. Extremely fine. [6] Est. 100-150 1068 Lot (22) of small Soviet Badges, base metal and enamels, seems to be mostly Cold War era; includes Honored Railwayman, Voroshilov Rifleman, Shock Worker of Stalin’s Call, Highest Course of Study at MVD Academy, Voroshilov-Highest Military Academy of Gen. Staff Graduate, various others, largely diamond-shaped. Average about extremely fine-extremely fine. [22] Est. 175-250 1069 Lot (26) of small Soviet Badges, base metal and enamels, various - Academy, Anniversary, bus driver, mostly diamond-shaped. Good very fine-extremely fine. [26] Est. 200-250 1070 Lot of small Soviet Badges. (9), screwback and suspension pinback and screwback, various including cycling - 1948, gymnastics, paratrooper, also includes (4) Cuban paratrooper badges and (8) badges with Imperial eagle - post Soviet. Small lot of Soviet medals, generally somewhat better pieces, includes: Medal of Valor during a Fire; Medal for the Reconstruction of the Local Mines of Donbass; Medal for the Reconstruction of Ferrous Metallurgy of the South; Medal for Distinguished Service in Guarding the State Borders; Medal for Distinguished Service in Protecting Public Order; and two others; the first nickel alloy, the others seem to be a nickel brass or bronze alloy, all on ribbons, extremely fine or a tad better. [7] Est. 200-250 1072 USSR. Large lot of Soviet State medals, includes Military, Civic, Anniversary and other medals, various, nearly all on ribbons. Interesting lot and should be seen. A few ribbons with a little soiling or fraying, generally about very fine to extremely fine. [21] Est. 350-450 1073 Russia. Large lot of Post-Soviet medals (25); includes 80th Anniversary of USSR Border Guards, Admiral Kuznetsov, 50th Anniversary-Soviet Nuclear Industry, 55th Anniversary Victory over Germany, Marshal Zhukov - two types, 80th Anniversary of the October Revolution, Medal to Veteran-Internationalists, and others, a few duplicates; also miscellaneous - mostly aluminum type base metal, one a Czech medal (8), average very fine to about uncirculated. January 15-16, 2013 - New York, NY 1077 South Korea, 25,000 Won, 1988 Olympics commemorative issues (dated 1986-1988), arms above floral spray, rev. various scenes that embody olympic spirit - 4 types in proof and business strike format with some duplication, (KM 58, 64, 68, 72), each coin contains nearly .4999 ounces of gold. [10] Est. 6,000-7,000 1081 1078 1078 Spain, Ferdinand & Isabella (1476-1516), 2 Reales, ND (ca. 1474-1504), Seville Mint, 6.8gms, crowned shield of arms, rev. yoke with traces and sheaf of arrows (Cal-Type-202), luster sits in the fields with attractive patina clinging to the devices, strike off flan, very rare in this quality, about uncirculated.
