1068 Lot (22) of small Soviet Badges, base metal and<br />

enamels, seems to be mostly Cold War era; includes<br />

Honored Railwayman, Voroshilov Rifleman,<br />

Shock Worker of Stalin’s Call, Highest Course of<br />

Study at MVD Academy, Voroshilov-Highest Military<br />

Academy of Gen. Staff Graduate, various others,<br />

largely diamond-shaped. Average about extremely<br />

1069 Lot (26) of small Soviet Badges, base metal and<br />

enamels, various - Academy, Anniversary, bus driver,<br />

mostly diamond-shaped. Good very fine-extremely<br />

1070 Lot of small Soviet Badges. (9), screwback and suspension<br />

pinback and screwback, various including cycling<br />

- 1948, gymnastics, paratrooper, also includes<br />

(4) Cuban paratrooper badges and (8) badges with<br />

Imperial eagle - post Soviet. Colorful, interesting<br />

group. Average good very fine-extremely fine. [21]<br />

1071 USSR. Small lot of Soviet medals, generally somewhat<br />

better pieces, includes: Medal of Valor during<br />

a Fire; Medal for the Reconstruction of the Local<br />

Mines of Donbass; Medal for the Reconstruction<br />

of Ferrous Metallurgy of the South; Medal for<br />

Distinguished Service in Guarding the State Borders;<br />

Medal for Distinguished Service in Protecting<br />

Public Order; and two others; the first nickel<br />

alloy, the others seem to be a nickel brass or bronze<br />

alloy, all on ribbons, extremely fine or a tad better. [7]<br />

Civic, Anniversary and other medals, various,<br />

nearly all on ribbons. Interesting lot and should be<br />

seen. A few ribbons with a little soiling or fraying, generally<br />

about very fine to extremely fine. [21]<br />

80th Anniversary of USSR Border Guards, Admiral<br />

Kuznetsov, 50th Anniversary-Soviet Nuclear Industry,<br />

55th Anniversary Victory over Germany, Marshal<br />

Zhukov - two types, 80th Anniversary of the October<br />

Revolution, Medal to Veteran-Internationalists, and<br />

others, a few duplicates; also miscellaneous - mostly<br />

aluminum type base metal, one a Czech medal (8),<br />

average very fine to about uncirculated. [33]<br />
