1029 Russia, Nicholas I (1825-1855), pair of Rubles,<br />

1852 CПБ ПA, 1855 HI, crowned Imperial eagle<br />

within braided circle, rev, value and date within<br />

wreath, crown above (Cr.168.1), about extremely<br />

fine, the former with a few small digs and once lightly<br />

‘41 corrosion, one of the ‘43s with solder mark, the ‘45<br />

plugged and 1853 with heavy hairlines and scratches.<br />

(Y.46), contact marks, the 1894 with shallow scrape behind<br />

1040 Russia, Nicholas II (1894-1917), Rouble, 1915-BC,<br />

bust facing left, rev. crowned double-headed imperial<br />

eagle (KM-Y59.3), mintage of 5,000, impeccably preserved<br />

with shimmering luster in the fields and very few<br />

marks on either side, mottled golden-apricot color clinges<br />

to the rim and confirms originality, hotly pursued for<br />
