5 Transportation<br />
5.1 Transportation<br />
Description<br />
Move the positioner into its transport position each time it is transported. It<br />
must be ensured that the positioner is stable while it is being transported. The<br />
positioner must remain in its transport position until it has been fastened in position.<br />
Before the positioner is lifted, it must be ensured that it is free from obstructions.<br />
Remove all transport safeguards, such as nails and screws, in<br />
advance. First remove any rust or glue on contact surfaces.<br />
Warning!<br />
The positioner may tip during transportation. Risk of injury and damage to<br />
property. The positioner must be secured to prevent it from tipping.<br />
Caution!<br />
Use of unsuitable handling equipment may result in damage to the positioner.<br />
Only use handling equipment with a sufficient load-bearing capacity.<br />
The positioner may only be transported in the manner specified here.<br />
Transport<br />
position<br />
The positioner must be in the transport position before it is transported, i.e. it<br />
must not be tilted for transporting purposes.<br />

Transport dimensions<br />
The dimensions for the positioner can be noted from the following drawings.<br />
The position of the center of mass and the weight vary according to the<br />
specific configuration. The specified dimensions refer to the positioner without<br />
equipment.<br />
