CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS: 

A. Mole-Richardson Co., 937 North Sycamore Avenue Hollywood, CA 90038, 

must be named as “CERTIFICATE HOLDER”. 

B. Mole-Richardson Co., 937 N. Sycamore Ave., Hollywood, CA 90038, must be named as “LOSS PAYEE and 

ADDITIONAL INSURED”. The certificate must note that insurance coverage is provided for loss or damage to 

the equipment you are renting, for a limit not less than the total value of the equipment. 

C. The Certificate of Insurance must show that “General Liability” Coverage exists for a policy limit of not 

less than $1,000,000.00. 

D. If you are renting a towed Generator, the Certificate of Insurance must show that “Automobile Liability” 

coverage exists for the vehicle you are using to tow the generator and the following additional coverages

With more than 80 years of interpreting technology and designing 

solutions for Cinematographers and Lighting Professionals worldwide, 

Mole-Richardson Co. is now proud to introduce the next evolution in 

set lighting, the MoleLED TM . 

Never before has a LED been available to the entertainment industry 

that is true film-friendly. Designed in collaboration with OSRAM Sylvania 

and their proprietary Phosphor Dome technology, the MoleLED TM provides 

Tungsten and Daylight white light that parallels both the spectral sensitivity 

curves of film and the visible spectrum. With the help of Kodak, Panavision, 

Technicolor, and Shelly Johnson ASC, multiple film tests were shot with the 

MoleLED TM in order to verify the color viewed on set would translate to the 

color viewed in film dailies. This attention to detail and strict testing has 

proven the MoleLED TM will mix seamlessly with any existing Tungsten 

(3200°K) or Daylight (5600°K) light source. 

The MoleLED TM 12-Pack fixtures consist of 12 OSRAM KREIOS ® LED 

circuit boards. Each of those 12 boards contain 20 high output LEDs, 

for a total of 240 individual sources. Unlike existing LED fixtures, the 

MoleLED TM blends these multiple sources into one, soft, single light 

source. This single source approach renders the light more attractive 

to the talent and more familiar to the technicians.

The DecaSource Lighting System is one of the most flexible "systems" for lighting any set, large or small. The unit is based on the MR16 bulb which 

is a one piece, multi-faced, reflector and globe combo, designed for intense light output without intense heat. By using a series/parallel circuit we 

are able to include thirty 75watt/12 volt globes into each DecaPod. The Pod is designed with a 20 amp 120 volt recessed house plug. The advantage 

of this design allows the DecaPod to be easily removed from the DecaLight, and PentaLight.

How to use the Tables on this page. 

1) Know the total amount of power at your supply point. 

2) Be sure your supply has ample fusing. 

3) Compute the amperage load Table 1 for the maximum 

units of lighting equipment you expect to use and be 

sure it does not exceed your total supply. The quantity 

of and variety of lights should be sufficient to provide 

flexibility in all photographic situations and since all will 

not be used at one time, only the maximum number of 

lights to be used at one time will form the basis for 

computing amperage load. 

4) Relate your available power to the current carrying 

capacities in Table 2 and decide on adequate cables. 

5) See Table 3 for Cable Voltage Drop at different 

distances.
