This was shared by the Queen of Recruiting at the Emerald Seminar a few years<br />
ago. She went out daily and got just 5 surveys, which only takes a few minutes.<br />
She took a basket with: hand cream samples (labeled of course), surveys, pens and<br />
seasonal books. She went into business that had a receptionist. Dr., Dentist, ...<br />
Offices. She said “Hi, I am ______ a <strong>Mary</strong> <strong>Kay</strong> Consultant and I was in the area<br />
and was wondering if you would like a free purse size hand cream?”<br />
They usually always say yes. Then she asks them “if they are on anyone’s seasonal<br />
mailing list.” If they say no, she asks “if they would enjoy having a quarterly<br />
brochure mailed to them showing the hottest colors of the season.” If they say yes,<br />
she has them fill out the skin care survey.<br />
When she gets home, she only keeps the ones that answer yes to # 5 OR yes or<br />
maybe to #8. The rest she throws away. Then she calls them that night to book<br />
their facial or interview. Make an appointment to take a Consultant with you —<br />
that way you are forced to work!!! And it doubles your efforts if she is a personal<br />
recruit!<br />
