Summer Open Shoot<br />

Another 36 Mixed Big Game Shoot was held on the grounds of the Purbeck<br />
Shooting School ,which 134 Archers attended. Our luck with the weather<br />
continues to hold to the extent that some contestants were saying it was ‘too<br />
hot’ out in the open area of the ground. Hard to believe this year! But all<br />
declared they enjoyed a good days shooting, despite the croc across the lake.<br />
This shot was from just in front of the ‘Tea stop’ so that those sitting<br />
enjoying a break were able to offer chosen “words of advice“ to those they<br />
knew at the peg and applaud ( or otherwise) the resulting shot!<br />
The Spirit of Greenman John Lincoln Memorial Trophy Annual competition<br />
was held as part of the Shoot. The members of the winning team were Bob<br />
and June Cronk, Mike Beare and Garfield Thomas.<br />
