8. Battery change<br />

8.1 General notes<br />

Batteries should only be changed by trained personnel. Only use batteries<br />

approved by <strong>SimonsVoss</strong>.<br />

On anti-panic cylinders these steps should be carried out on the external knob<br />

as the batteries and electronics are located on the external side.<br />

Please see the data sheet for further information.<br />

Reversing polarity can result in damage to the locking cylinder. The<br />

batteries used in this device can cause fire or burns if handled<br />

incorrectly. Do not charge, open, heat above 100°C, short-circuit or burn<br />

batteries.
