Association<br />
As amended and adopted<br />
at the <strong>36th</strong> <strong>General</strong> <strong>Convention</strong><br />
held September 3, 4, and 5, 2007,<br />
in the City of Pittsburgh, <strong>Penn</strong>sylvania<br />
MISSION STATEMENT OF THE WILLIAM PENN ASSOCIATION<br />
The mission of the Association is to provide financial security to its members through quality life<br />
insurance and annuity products and to support fraternal, ethnic, cultural, charitable, educational,<br />
patriotic and religious activities.<br />
In pursuit of this mission, the Association will achieve results in the following areas:<br />
1. Own, maintain, or provide assistance for, homes for retired or disabled members through itself<br />
or wholly owned subordinate bodies;<br />
2. Render service to its members and perform fraternal, ethnic, cultural, educational, patriotic and<br />
religious works;<br />
3. Provide scholarships to its qualifying members, through the <strong>William</strong> <strong>Penn</strong> Fraternal Association<br />
Scholarship Foundation, Inc; and<br />
4. Promote and support the study of the Hungarian language, culture and arts, and unite<br />
American Hungarians to preserve, protect and perpetuate the Hungarian heritage, as established by<br />
the Founding Fathers of the Association.<br />
