94. Professor August (Gus) Molnar / American
Hungarian Foundation / Extends Greetings. Professor
August Molnar, President, American Hungarian Foundation
extended warm greetings to the delegates of the 36th
General Convention. He expressed sincere thanks for the
generous support the Foundation has received from the
William Penn Association. He outlined the past accomplishments
of the American Hungarian Foundation and
the future plans of the Foundation. Professor Molnar was
also promoting the sale of a book entitled, “The Hungarian
Legacy in America” prepared by the American Hungarian
Foundation. He hoped the William Penn Association will
continue to support the American Hungarian Foundation.
95. Maximilian N. Teleki / Hungarian American
Coalition / Extends Greetings. Maximilian N. Teleki,
representing the Hungarian American Coalition extended
greetings to the delegates of the 36th General Convention
and explained the mission of his organization. He
requested the support of the William Penn Association to
the Hungarian American Coalition so they may continue
to accomplish their mission.
96. Branch Allotment Increase. Delegate Timothy J.
Lippert requested the William Penn Association consider
increasing the allotment the Branches are receiving so they
may be able to promote fraternal activities.
97. Ralph Manning / Estate Planning. Ralph F.
Manning, Esquire, spoke on the subject of Estate Planning.
He outlined various forms of charitable giving which will
benefit the donor tax-wise and also benefit the recipient of
the donation.
98. Delegate Erin Ward / Extends Greetings. Alternate
Director Erin E. Ward, daughter of Dawn and Jeff
Ward, extended greetings to the delegates of the 36th
General Convention. She expressed sincere thanks and
appreciation to the William Penn Association for the
scholarship grants she received for four years while she
attended college. It was a great help for her as she continued
her higher education. She urged everyone to support
the Scholarship Foundation so others may also receive the
assistance she received.
99. Director Vasvary / Cookbooks. Director William S.
Vasvary stated the William Penn Association has a new
cookbook on sale and urged everyone to purchase this
new cookbook whereby all proceeds will go to the William
Penn Fraternal Association Scholarship Foundation.
100. Scholarship Donations. National V.P./Treasurer
Diane M. Torma announced that all donation envelopes
were collected. The donors name and amounts were
announced. The grand total donated amounted to
$35,100.00. This was the largest fund raising effort
received for the benefit of the William Penn Association
Scholarship Foundation. National V.P./Treasurer Torma,
Chairman Varga, National President Charles and National
V.P./Secretary Toth, all thanked the delegates for
their generous support of the Scholarship Foundation.
101. Chairman Varga / Agenda Completed. Chairman
Stephen J. Varga stated the work on the Agenda for the
36th General Convention has been completed. He called
on Rev. Dr. Joseph Bodnar, Pastor of the Bayard Street
Presbyterian Church in New Brunswick, NJ for prayer.
102. Rev. Dr. Joseph Bodnar / Benediction. Rev. Dr.
Joseph Bodnar offered the benediction. Delegate Evelyn B.
Bodnar sang “God Bless America” and asked everyone to
join her.
103. Convention / Adjourned / Adopted.

BARBARA A. HOUSE AND THE DELEGATES
CLOSED THE 36TH GENERAL CONVENTION.
104. Chairman Varga / Extends Wishes. Chairman
Stephen J. Varga wished everyone a safe and pleasant
journey to their homes and hoped to see everyone at the
next convention in 2011.
