64. E. E. (AL) Vargo / Conducts Memorial Service.<br />
Vice Chairman E. E. (Al) Vargo conducted the Memorial<br />
Service. The Memorial Service was to commemorate the<br />
passing of former Officers, Board of Directors, Auditing<br />
Committee members, retired Home Office Employees,<br />
former Branch Officers and Coordinators.<br />
Music was offered by bagpiper Lt. Michael A. Scott,<br />
Pittsburgh Police Department, Emerald Society Pipes and<br />
Drums. Rev. Dr. Joseph G. Bodnar performed the memorial<br />
service. Evelyn B. Bodnar sang for the memorial<br />
service accompanied on the piano by Arlene Miller.<br />
65. Chairman Varga / Voting for Alternate Directors.<br />
Chairman Varga stated the ballot is prepared for voting for<br />
Alternate Directors and gave specific instructions for the<br />
manner in which the election of Alternate Directors will be<br />
elected.<br />

Secretary Richard W. Toth began calling the delegates by<br />
names and table numbers to cast their ballot.<br />

recessed the convention for lunch break.<br />

Vice Chairman E. E. (Al) Vargo introduced Stephen J.<br />
Varga for remarks on the future of the <strong>William</strong> <strong>Penn</strong><br />
Association. Mr. Varga submitted his report on the future<br />
programs to move the Association forward in the ensuing<br />
four (4) years from 2007-2011.<br />
