BYLAW NUMBER 5231
A bylaw to authorize closure and removal
of the dedication as highway
WHEREAS Section 40 of the Community Charterprovides that Council may, by bylaw,
close all or part of a highway and remove the dedication of a highway;
AND WHEREAS the Corporation of the City of Vernon deems it necessary and to close
and cancel the dedication of a portion highway as shown and described as a "Closed
Road" and outlined in bold on the reference plan accompanying this bylaw, certified by
Mr. Mark Budgen, B.C.L.S., and completed on the l6rh day of November,2070,
(hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), a copy of which is attached hereto as Schedule

NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the City of Vernon, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. That portion of the following described road:

shown as "CLOSED ROAD" on the Plan is hereby stopped up and closed to traffic.
2. That the dedication as highway of the portion of the following described road:
